New "out of memory" various errors out of the blue

Hey guys, today I have got a bunch of out of memory errors...... but nothing changed with my memory, nor is there any reason I see for this to be happening, while I am using mods.... none of this was any kind of problem before. Not only is windows warning me with 'close the program or lose your data' warnings, but its also crashing with a failed to create texture (some directx msg) out of mem errors too... My amount of memory nor the speed of my memory have both not changed... :( Any clue as to why this suddenly started happening? I used to get these back when I had 4gb ram.... but I have had 8 for a year or so now, and never got these since. Thanks. -

OH OK... thank you so much... .I do some java coding so my brain was like, rationalizing this a different way. After thinking about this the same way I thought about some INI thing once.... now I understand thank you. And yes I heard that += operator was bugged in the SQF, I will have to stay away from it then. Thanks, my brain just ascended to a new level of function right there, I suddenly made a mental connection between the configs and some other stuff I did once :) -

I believe you can use AllInArma for the same "effective" purpose since it has the maps too, but all in arma terrain pack are the maps in a standalone dedicated fashion, im not sure if SMD sahrani may use some files or data specifically from all in arma TP tho... because all in arma tp had some extra implementations of smd stuff (or at least was planned to) ... so it may make a difference. Cifordayzserver can tell you the right answer to this though, I am not sure. Also, @andersson Thanks, since OFP i always thought it was a requirement...(I thought they made it different in arma 3 for some reason) hmm, armaholic how to install mods sticky accidental brainwashing I guess :D -

@Parratt FYI,if you didnt already know, XM8s are in CUP Weapons pack, though they are the ones from A2 PMC DLC. -

You can also download with Play With Six, though it will be in 2 parts (US AND RU) on there if you so choose to use it. (Play with six is a program, if you dont have it, then just use any other suggested method from those guys :))- 16577 replies

@Defunkt Yeah ive decided I will do a rhs compatiblity myself, thanks for suggesting it. (if I can achieve it, I will definatley release it publicly) So, I figure there is a class or something within the weapon config for usable mags? I will investigate this later, but if anyone can send me a biwiki page or something that can show the part of the config I have to change (since I assume its the weapons config???) I will try it... But, doesnt that mean im overriding the whole config, see im not sure how I would just.. (add it?) I guess I would have to do something like adding it to the array of usable mags but not sure how I would do that, but ill ask some friends and see what I can do, if anyone has any suggestions or info, I would appreciate it. -

I believe you may want to use All In Arma Terrain pack with the SMD sahrani, but I guess all in arma would work as well. Anyways, loading mods stuff should be the same as a2... and yeah you want to either add that Allinarma or all in arma terrain pack, I do believe with a3 you dont have to use @ for the modfolders now, but people still do it and you may want to. -

Dude chill... nobody here is going to "hate" you for this or anything... BI Forums are nice people. :) Simply put, in this community people usually look down upon paying for production of mods, quite honestly let me give you some advice on this matter, if you want it done, find a specific modder or modders, and contact them directly... if they will do it, then "produce" that privatley, and if you wish release it with no mention of the "on commison" aspect of the mods production, But really dont beat yourself up over posting this or some emotional shit, maybe you think the responses are immature, and I can understand that... but nobody is going to be like "oh look badadz the guy who wants to pay for mods" or something... So yeah, dont worry about it, people here are just giving you the honest response that its not something really done in the BI forums community, albeit maybe in a "cryptic" and supposed to be humorous manner. Also in terms of learning to do the mod stuff yourself, retexture is not the hard stuff... someone else who does this more often then me can elaborate more if desired, but you may want to start a new thread in the editing section or something, I believe that is where that stuff goes, Good luck :cool: -

Nice work on the CUP stuff guys, attachments are golden. As I have probably spammed to your WIP topics in the past, a compatiblity patch with RHS mags would be fucking awesome. -

I am asking because I have tried to create models for a3 with sketchup but never was able to export with the textures, and clearly you must know how since you did it. can you post a link to that extension you used? Thanks. :) -

Yeah no texture on the NV that gets added with this mod for me either. Also idk if its just me but the German woodland stuff seems like its not green enough overall, but I cant really describe what I mean properly. -

i see you said you created one of the models in sketchup, is it possible to somehow UV map the texture from how you have applied it in sketchup? (ie:export as a UV map or something like that idk) thanks (sent from mobile) -
I just ran the PWS automatic one, I DLed the 31 mb or so IFA3 mod... which then "processed" a ton of shit and copied those folders, and ran 2 patcher exes, so idk about any "required folders" also im getting the wrong faction icons and a shit ton of CFG errors too... also getting random TKOH GUI elements on the menus

Forums html currently breaking for me,,, hopefully this response appears... Anyways, When using the HLC patch with the RHS stuff, under Virtual Arsenal I get no supressor options for HLC weapons that I know i CAN NORMALLY SUPPRESS without the hlc compatibility patch with RHS -

Do you mean disabling lamps on the map? If so, you shouod be able to just look it up and do the arma 2 way of finding the nearest one and changing the state, i would post code here but im on mobile

So, IF is on sale for about 13 dollars, is it worth it if i only want to play the arma 3 mod version? I like making missions and evertpything too, i can use this just like any other mod in pws (ie: along with the other mods right)

^ translation: a politcal argument which i wont detail Stop arguing on this thread its about this mod.. Lj, nice work on the new sound, i like the supressed ones. Those supressed sounds would override the mods that use vanilla sd sounds right? If so... That will awesomely improve stuff, alot of mods use the vanilla sd sounds which are boring. -

To anyone asking about trenches, i forget exactly how itmwas done, but mgb nam for a2 had some trenches at one of the LZs if your intrested (it works with aia tp as well) Also, good job guys, nice armor models (From the cursed mobile)- 954 replies
