I don't have any references at hand, but they're roughly half of the flag's length and about 1/3 of its height. EDIT: Found something. Oldie but goodie. More in line with what's in the mod already. http://i43.servimg.com/u/f43/15/03/57/94/screen28.jpg (141 kB) But it's not just the medical ones that need to be buffed a bit in size. It's all the others, too. And personally, the preset ones (Lam, etc) need to be a bit bigger to be readable (not talking about letters specifically but the whole patch). I figure if you find out the size of vanilla patches and just buff it to that, the issues will sort themselves out. Also, thank you for your work and dedication, SpectreRSG, it's greatly appreciated! :) -

Hurray! Update! I've been anxiously waiting for this. There's a few things I'd like to ask (pardon my inquisitive nature): - Will the helmets see a similar revision to their colour? (Making them darker or lighter etc) - Will we see a heavy variant of the WTE plate carrier (in line with the R? (I ask not only because of the capacity difference but also for aesthetic reasons, pardon my shallow-ness) One question that's slightly more important than the rest: - Whereas the medical-related insignias (O POS, O NEG etc) and other single patches aren't relevant to the gameplay, is it possible to enlarge them? They are currently very small and difficult to read at a glance. -
He wasn't talking about their trajectory. He was talking about their appearance. On that note, @Ice9: Check out the blastcore tracers mod. Also, if I'm not mistaken, OS has stated in a previous post (don't know exactly when) that tracers are included in Phoenix.

1. That doesn't happen in Virtual Arsenal, don't put it in the same box as VAS. 2. Only the base weapons are in the Virtual Arsenal list. 3. Only in VAS do you get weapons via their classnames, which means you get all the weapons listed and the classnames associated with them, especially the classnames that include attachments. This is not an addon problem, this is just how VAS works.

Just a few friendly reminders for the last 4 posters and hopefully future posters: Don't post asking for release dates, wait patiently instead. This is not a request thread. Requests fill pages and pages and often create massive off-topic discussions (some of them are actually well appreciated, most of them are already answered though). (I'd imagine) Questions are appreciated, as long as they are pertinent to the addon and its development. It is RobertHammer's thread after all and he may or may not agree with the points above. On to the question(s): - RobertHammer, could you talk more about the incoming update? What does it change? What's new? And most importantly: Does it affect future development and how?

Incorrect. A simple script will add the attachments you want to the inventory and then attach them to the weapon. Search around the forums, I'm sure there's loads out there already.

I think it's the other way around Wacko. At least that's what I can gather from the pictures. EDIT: I stand corrected. Now that the massive de-synchronization problems are mostly fixed, will we see the new version released? I'm asking because I hope that a public release helps identify and solve problems related to high-capacity servers as well as quicken the search for other, more specific issues. Thank you for your attention and patience thus far.

Ah, this question is most important to me as well. Currently the only available LMG that offers good mobility for an assault team is the M27, even then, only one addon has it. Will it be featured in the future, perhaps alongside the 416s? Apologies for asking roughly the same question twice and thank you for your attention. Now, back to patiently waiting. :)

Perhaps this has been asked a few billion times already: Besides the new 5.56x45 configs and ballistics by spartan, will the update feature new 7.62 configs and ballistics as well? Also, are packs going to be made according to the family of weapons they belong to or are we going to see the HK41X family be tossed in with the M4s? Lastly, any future plans for scopes like the SpecterDR and perhaps different-reticle Acogs like the British one? Thank you for your patience and attention.

In short, you're agreeing with me just through different words. Besides, were you promised fun when/if you enlisted? Nope. You got the gear, make the best of it. All I asked was if it was possible to add transparency to the overlay because the NVGs are a few inches away from your eyes, so you still have peripheral vision, even if what you see can range from nothing to just silhouettes (time and weather depending). To me, it would make sense not only to have the edges blurred but, more importantly, to have the overlay be transparent. Your natural "viewing angle" (so to speak) is roughly calculated to be around 140 degrees on average (counting peripheral that can go up to 180 in specific cases). So it would feel more natural to have the overlay much like the vanilla one in the sense it's transparent and doesn't have the NVG effect applied to it. Sniper variants? That is -very- interesting actually... it also answered the question I was going to ask. Darn! I take it the weapon displayed is merely placeholder for the players actual weapon, though? Also, will the wire be a surface so weapon-resting mods work? -

Something has been brought up to my attention regarding helicopters and their behaviour/interaction with the ground and it's an aspect that could make or break mods as additions to the game. Will the airframes made available via this project crumple upon impact rather than outright exploding? (Think Franze's & NODUnit's Apache damage model vs Vanilla ArmA 3) It would make crash landings that much more valuable and overall safer. Not to mention it would restore a great deal of trust in those few but very competent helo pilots out there. -

Great job so far. Though to be fair, the only reason why I'm not replacing A3MP with this is, beyond no support for Namalsk (which is a fairly decent map when taken out of its element, still), the fact the walls still flop over erratically with no regard for physics not to mention how some trees simply collapse when in contact with the hood of an MRAP travelling at 7 km/h (an all-too-common problem with ported maps, sadly). All that aside, I will be keeping a close eye on this mod, it's very promising! -
I feel very compelled to ask this question if it hasn't been asked yet: With Phoenix, will smoke grenades see themselves as more dynamic? To elaborate: Will they have animated textures and will the smoke cloud produced develop more naturally? Many thanks in advance and I wish you the best of luck (& patience) with your mod, OS.

The uniforms and the call signs look absolutely astonishing! Though one thing that has pushed people away from uniform addons is their capacity: TFA Uniform's capacity is just right. Mimic that and you've got several communities very happy to use them. On the addon: Wonderful patches, though moral patches would be greatly. -

Hello KoffeinFlummi and Commy (and other contributors who made this mod possible that I don't know that well). Thank you for taking your time to make this addon, I truly appreciate it as do many others in this thread. A thought crossed my mind for those more hardcore: Is it possible to implement (possibly in AGM_Medical) items like bodybags and dogtags so you can identify the deceased? And on the note of body retrieval, would it be possible to enable dragging corpses? Many thanks in advance and best of luck in your current and future endeavours! -

To the team: Given that the Helicopters DLC has been slated for a mid September release, do you personally think the Lima will be out by then? and on that note: Given that this whole mod is an ongoing adventure filled with experiences, which would you say was the most important so far?
