    But i have not any .sqf into my VCOM folder, just ' AISettingsV2.hpp ' is this normal? The .sqf file should be located in the "root" Arma/userconfig/VCOM_AI folder. EDIT: It appears that the .sqf is in the script version of the latest download. and missing from the mod version. I don't know enough about mods to know whether this is a packaging mistake or not.

    ? You can "save" game when ever you wish. Hit esc and select save. You might have to go into Arma game settings and check to allow save game. There is also a save game mod but I have never used it.

    Arma 3 closed in unusual manner!!

    These crashes are quite common. I wish I knew more about mods and how they work (or not!!!) but I have read where BI in one of the later patches have implemented their own EBS system so you don't need TPW's version of EBS any longer. If you have TPW's active, BI is now competing with it. When you post a crash or problem you should list the mods you are using and put your PC specs in your sig so we have the information at our fingertips.

    A little while ago when I was first using EM I tried climbing on top of my ifrit to take a look with my binoculars but couldn't cling to the surface. Is that not possible? (might be asking a bit much when we already have such awesome mods ! ) Is it possible that enemy can use EM or are their movements dictated by BI engine?

    Enhanced Movement

    Hey BB I saw earlier about plopping to prone issues and wanted to confirm it,...at least for me as well. It only happens when I am unarmed (weapons are stashed in my backpack). Normally I would simply put a pistol or rifle in my hands and the issue would be fixed but I use Incognito at times so you can see how that might be a pain in the ass. Still all in all, one of the top mods!

    The calculations were simply a reduction or increase in percentages. I will recheck those numbers again to be sure they are consistant. Edit: @dakaodo You have a very sharp eye sir!   12. Issue resolved I had recently downloaded quite a few mods to use in Ravage/ROADS. One of them as others have eluded to could (most likely) was one of Massi'e weapons mods. One of them had instructions to place 'PBO's in the Addons folder. For one reason or another I removed the weapons pack but the game was still seeing the PBO's, not knowing what to do, thus the errors. @commy2 Your answer was the nudge I needed to head in the right direction. For another unkown reason I had disabled logging in the launcher. Once I re-enabled it I got different warning on startup stating that ASDG Jointrails requires addon/massi's weapons pack (do not remember exact words). So I looked in the Addons (at least now I knew where to look!) folder and there was the two entries that the error was referring to. Proceeded to delete and all is well. Thanks!
  13. reaching out for a hand I am getting this error on game start. It's not preventing me from playing but I like to keep things clean. Intitial game start= No entry'bin\config.bin/CFGWeapons.optic_mas_zeiss.' proceed to map view in the start process= 'bin\Config.bin/CFGWeapons.muzzle_mas_snds_M'. No entry'bin\config.bin\CFGWeapons.optics_mas_zeiss'. No entry'bin\config.bin/CFGWeapons.optic_mas_zeiss'. Arma 3 v1.56.134627 CBA V2.3.1.160220 mod active, only, thus the post here. Starting Arma with zero mods yields no errors. Please advise if something shows in the error that warrants posting elsewhere. Thanks for helping

    Does your UserConfig/VCOM_AI/,...sqf file contents change, when ever you make updates/changes to your mod? If so then the files I uploaded may quickly become reduntant.
  15. Is there a mod that removes the icon showing where the player is when the map is opened? I would like to open the map and figure out where I am, just like in real life.

    Solved,....thanks Ineptaphid ! BTW,...for others, it also disables the reference point that you could place for your destination. Add to the (diffuculty) realism.

    Now when you say "the", I would take it to mean that there is one either in the ROADS mission, CBA, or Ravage itself. I'm unaware of a weather mod/setting in any of these three but then again I'm unsure. Anxious to here what your tests show. Incidentally I deleted my existing ROADS files I initially used, and downloaded the pack which has the four mapped versions, with the same results. Thanks for looking into this as I enjoy long sagas such as these.

    Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately If that is the cause, I wouldn't have the slightest idea where to start looking to make the change. Just by way of adding some information: I tested Altis with only CBA and Ravage mod enabled,........Still twitches I tested Chernarus with only CBA, Ravage, and Cup Terrains,........no twitching ???

    I started a new mission last night and noticed that some guards at an outpost (with campfires) were animated as carrying rifles but no rifles were visible. I then started scanning through the suggested mods to use. I stopped when I got to the Russian weapons because I thought that CUP now has all of these items collective in their downloads. Could I get a clarification so I don't get duplicates please? edit: Could this be my answer?..................(copy/paste from download page) known issues - Lights "ON" on Chernarus map and some RAVAGE functions to spawn AIs not working because of "missing location" error on CUP_TP and Chernarus maps. - starting mission without burning truck and dead buddy on Chernarus maps: restart the mission. _ unable to save on start: restart the mission. - error messages linked to CUP mod ( animation missing): click OK and go on playing mission. - error messages linked to A3 weapons recoil since 1.54 update: click OK and go on playing the mission. -some weapons dissapear once bandits killed since 1.54 update -- MP-5 / UMP from FFAA - weapons wobble and slide away from bodies or float upon body since 1.54 update -- HLC and FFAA - missing weapons on some spawned AIs since 1.54 update - FPS drop in some case due to large amount of objects added on the map. might require some tweaking on game settings - music will not play on mission Start . - actual implanted chemlight system (attached to player) menu will fail to work fine fixed: function inclued in RAVAGE - desynchronization at the intro (sound/anim ) due to CPU/GPU charge (on basic PC with budget GPU card)

    RAM: Impact on performance? How much?

    I was reading what you were discussing, regarding the malloc fix, on another post and decided to give it a go. I think it's just the type of missions I play (Pilgrimage/ROADS/etc) which I think is very demanding. I'm not sure if I am noticing any change by using the malloc or not. Maybe I'll make a short mission in the editor and try to compare with and without.

    RAM: Impact on performance? How much?

    I just bought some new RAM because I am getting so much stuttering even though my fps are generally around 40. It's expecially bad when I scope and zoom. Then when I "unscope", (is that even a word?) the graphics take a long second to regenerate, as opposed to instantly. My hardware is getting a tad old but still shouldn't be so sluggish. I'll report in when I get it installed.

    RAID 0 and arma 3 performance

    I have found in the past, for the most part, not always, that better RAM equals smoother game play, not necessarily more fps. With poor RAM games can stutter, while fps fluctuate from high to low.
