Hi, I too had this problem for a long time and just came across this thread. Using an old Logitech Attack 3 with a USB2 port, Had it since 8, upgraded to 8.1 and the problem with it disappearing still persists. Back in ArmA 2 and Windows 7 this never happened even when the joystick was unplugged for weeks. I also tested it with my Logitech F710 gamepad and I still get the same results. Though Windows has no problem at any point recognizing the joystick. I will try and go through Logitrust's foot steps but just like you I think it's not something on my side. I remembered something while writing this post, went to my Wak.Arma3Profile and at the bottom found this: class JoysticksList { class Joystick1 { guid="839F58F0-C8AA-11E2-8001-444553540000"; name="Logitech Attack 3"; offset=256; isXInput=0; mode="Custom"; }; class Joystick2 { guid="B1C356E0-433A-11E3-8004-444553540000"; name="Controller (Wireless Gamepad F710)"; offset=512; isXInput=1; mode="Disabled"; }; class Joystick3 { guid="C16A4810-2737-11E4-8004-444553540000"; name="Logitech Attack 3"; offset=768; isXInput=0; mode="Custom"; }; }; This just shows the game knows these joysticks are here, which makes it even more annoying! Note: The reason there are 2 Attack 3's is because I moved the same profile between W8 and W8.1, which probably made the game think it's a "new" joystick. -

_this select 3 select 0 isn't needed. _this select 3 will be equal to _first or _second AFAIK, since you're not passing multiple arguments. Also you should put [_first] or ["_first"] in the addAction instead of _first. Not sure which one right now. You don't even need that when you can just remove the action itself by removing _this select 2, because _this select 2 returns the action it self. To explain it more (if you still need it) I'm gonna give an example. Here is how I do On/Off actions with a file called "actionManager.sqf": Make sure the have a Boolean value defined before (or while) you're calling it: wakCond = false; actionManager.sqf: (_this select 0) removeAction (_this select 2); //This is where you have your problem btw ;), can't use array components like that, at least not in ArmA _player = _this select 1; if (wakCond) then { //Code _player addAction ["Turn it off", "actionManager.sqf"]; //It doesn't have to be anything special. wakCond = false; //Next time it'll hit the other scope } else { //Code _player addAction ["Turn it on", "actionManager.sqf"]; //It doesn't have to be anything special. wakCond = true; //Next time it'll hit the other scope }; Alternatively you could pass wakCond through the addAction but for me this method feels like I have more control, you can still do it your way. You only have syntax errors. -

Submarine_Sandwich you noticed the first video also has sounds from JSRS DragonFyre right? Another thing I can think of is increasing the number of sound samples in the sound settings, maybe yours is too low because of someting. -

Well Kilroy they could do that, by putting them as mission objects which depends on date. We just gotta lose like 20 frames, no big deal at this point. -

You probably considered NATO SF and Russian Spetsnaz Weapons already, it's probably the perfect one. I can only see 1 downside, which is the size (probably what you thought) but I can assure you it's not really a problem. These days it's dependency rate can race with CBA, I don't think anyone playing on desert maps whould go out of their FOB without Massi's weapons anyway. Good to have a deserty mod which focuses on units and vehicles, I say this whould go perfect with Takistan, Fallujah or F.A.T.A. -

I love how people are saying it's dying, while BI probably made more money just this year than it did in last five. Totally agree about the performance thing, but I'm not going to prefer any other game just because I'm getting 60 FPS. -

You won't be able to buy it to your current steam account anyway, steam won't let you. But you can still make the purchase, keep it as a gift and then give it to your daughter. There will be problems if you two are using the same account. Also I don't know how HC works, but your daughter might not be able to play on he account if HC need steam running like normal client. -

Well, if those are the only 3 pbos you have there should also be a "mas_us_rifle_c" which might cause that error. Also are all your friends getting this error too? Did you all install that same folder? Which should go like @mas\addons\ bla bla EDIT: Sorry for questioning you and your friends' skill to install mods, just making sure. -

Luca that might me some enemy units you spawned, since they also need the russian weapons. Massi's Russian Spetsnaz and African Conflict for example need the russian weapons to run. Totally aside from that, Massi is there a good way of removing the Russian weapons? I'm saying this because I want to chop of some size from my little (!) list of mods, and since me and my friends are not using any enemy units of yours, it's really unnecessary. I tried just deleting the pbo, but obviously their configs are merged with the us ones, which causes them to still "exist" and causes errors, like a lot of them. I Also taught of going in and editing the configs but there are just so many classes I don't know. Any possibilities of having russian and us configs separated like the rest of the content? -
ArmA 3 Tools' AddOn Builder Deletes All Files?

I'm talking about the one you get from Steam. I felt like I should let binPBO go and switch to the new thing. As the title says, I realized I made a huge mistake, and after this point I will use good old 2005 looking binPBO until it stops working. I don't think my setting matter, but I'll post them if anyone wonders, and maybe it's something I did wrong. Also I'm thinking it might be Windows 8.1? I switched to it literally days ago, and that's why I decided to install the new ones, but it didin't act any different until I noticed my whole pbo folder was gone, only with something like: "Error=1". Note: I'm not a big fan of blaming the new ArmA 3 tools or Windows 8.1, but one of them (or both of them combined?) seems to delete an hour of work! -
I just watched the trailer for the 5th time, randomly. I'm not a big eminem fan, but the song just fits there, and the video is so well built. Not just me, whoever I send the video to is like "Wak you know how to do this stuff, can you put this in ALL MY MISSIONS EVER NOW". That's my way of saying great work, not just great the best!

If you keep pumping these amazingly simple (but needed) mods this fast, my heart might not take it Dslyecxi, works just as described with AI, didn't have time to check it with real people but I'm sure none of my friends can't say no to another shack tac mod! -
