Exactly. Why do you screw retail owners over this way? Having to uninstall everything, install steam, reinstall everything, reconfig everything, and why? Because suddenly someone thought it's easier to pass updates exclusively via steam? We bought a non-steam retail game, therefore all official patches should be also available for our version of the game. It's simple as that.
