I dont know, for me it breaks immersion when the civs are floating in groups (had funniest scenes at the Altis Hotel which came with the Update a few months ago) inside the buildings or they simply walk into your sight while shooting Thats why i prefer the forest an free areas of Altis, no chance for floating point there^^

I would prefer a version without any civilians, only those civilians shall be active which are needed for the mission like POW civilian. The civilians ai costs perfomance and they are stupid as shit, mean such things like walking into fireline while shooting or things like civilians which are floating in their own house cause they stuck in the wall (thanks BI.NOT)

U need to put the paste as thin as possible on the cpu- use an old creditcard or something like that to spread it on the Heatspreader of the cpu. When installing the new cpu cooler you need to be sure that the cooler is so plain as possible on the cpu to get best results

Thats normal or better to say your temperature depends on the quality of the CPU-cooling. Do you use the boxed cooler which comes with the cpu? If yes i would intense suggest to buy a new one cause the boxed cooler isnt very good, thats a fact. Comparing to coolers from Scythe or Noctua it´s a world. They cooling up to 15°C better, that depoends of course which and how you spread the cooling paste on the cpu befor placing the cooling unit. By the way: when u didnt disable it in the bios your cpu throttles the clock speed when reaches 80°C EDIT: just read you use stock cooler. You should follow my suggestion then

As i testetd the starting parameters and how it performs when start with/without parameters i couldnt recognize any significant gain. But you can test for yourself if you wish to do so. Your results are normal, you shouldnt expect wonders when have a good Pc, fact is that the Engine of Arma doesnt allow it to reach higher values. But everyone has his own hypothesis why Arma runs do damn wrong, even on better systems. Welcome to Arma anyway ^^

Now should be a restriction or something needed, to prevent that the Csat Dildo Boys are able to spawn everywhere with small groups, even in your camp or a camp controlled by other friendlies. When they couldnt spawn everywhere it shall be possible to takeover the island. When they still will spawn wherever they want i dont think that it is possible to win this ever..

The integrated FPS counter in Optionsmenu is not very useful when u want to check how your System performs. I would suggest to use a tool from the web, http://www.fraps.com/ this tool is great for beginners, it shows the Frames, you can record benchmarks and you can take screenshots with this tool. And its for free :)

Hey Eric, just wanted to ask if it would be possible to make the M110 more "yellowish" would fit better to sand orientated terrain as the actual orange like color. Just ask if it´s possible :)

Meh, this Static TitanAA´s spawn where and whenever they want, i noticed they prefer the "spawn infront my helicopter, 200 meters away with guarantee to hit me" method. So happen 3 times in a row when i was flying actually. Especially the " StaticTitanAA" which spawns right there where 10 Soldiers from my side are, most epic that they didnt shoot them, seems they enjoy how the enemy is firing my ass down to earth :mad: Should drink a cup of tea, otherwise i could rage out my pc out of my window ^^

1.: you shouldnt give not even a minimal fuck to the windowsExperience shit. It´s useless. 2.: usually you dont need to install the "out of the box" driver of the screen, when the GFX is plugged to your screen the GFX install all needed things 3: mostly when you click too fast before the driver is installed its normal that the "NvidiaControlPanel" didnt show up. Check which Forceware you got installed for your GTX970, optimal forceware is actually the http GeForce 344.16 Driver (WHQL) http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/78216 This driver is specially created for the GTX970&980, only for those (900er Series)

Ehm, no. I never told that Arma would be a bad game son, so dont accuse me that i say such things. Did you checked my account on Steam and how many hours i spend to play this game? I´ll make it easy for you: close to 4000 hours now. And the thing where i bitched about the game , feel free to show me that posting. I only can remember that i talked with a Mod (i think it was a conversation with [FRL]Myke) about this game and how great it is, and its too bad that we need to have patience.. Good attempt to tell me something about Ram and overclocking.. but i know about such things cause i,m working since ~20years with pc´s, over 10years i overclock, but thanks anyway.

It depends on the default state, so here a quick example: So if you want to disable the WeaponFX for example you should first check the default state (True / False, default is True) -> in this case you just need to delete those // infront of GL5_Local set [30, True]; So disabled would look like this: ---------- Post added at 21:09 ---------- Previous post was at 21:02 ---------- I removed the link, but got some questions about the BloodFX, which State does it have at default? I believe it´s hard work to start with optimizing this, i bet this is difficult as hell, anyway, it would be great as gamer if we could notice someday a noticeable push due the fps (MP/SP) The performance is like this line ----------------------------------------------------------- month over month no significant or noticable gain due fps. Possible that they have more important things to fix, in my opinion it would be correct if they would start to fix the most voted tickets from the feedback tracker, some tickets reaches close to 3000 "Yes" Votes, active since 12,8 or even 6 months. And still not fixed. Such votes by the community should be #1 priority.

I know where the problem is, you need the BurningFX.pbo in your addons folder, it was releasesd with a seperate GL5 Release. I´ll uploaded it for you, tell me if it worked Link removed ;) The author should feel free to tell me when i should remove the link, just wanna help a member :)

I think you did it wrong by changing the values from (example: //correct GL5_Local set [74, False] to // wrong GL5_Local set [74, True]) Just leave it as configured by default. The text already told you: True / False, default is True so it seems to be not necessary to change something in there if you want to use the feature
