Yes, the whole DCS thing is getting old, please do not mention DCS in this thread. Nothing I'm doing has anything to do with DCS, this mod is for Arma.

I will try to get the paa's from Nixon to add to the alpha. The towing tractor has been moved to it's own mod, I have added a new towing tractor for bigger planes that are coming out. I should have something to show on the two towing tractors soon.

Update: I have a alpha version for release but unfortunely my home network is down for a week to upgrade service. I will be able to post here from my phone for now.

You can use the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS with Arma. I have played DCS but my A10 is not based off the DCS A10, I based it off information I have collected from manuals and Air Force personnel that work on the A10. I have adding more functionality to batter work with joysticks, but don't expect it to be just like DCS. P.S. I really like the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, I just wish I could afford it.

I have looked at that, and right now the MFCD don't have the functionality they will when the TAD and weapon targeting and other systems like CCRP are in place, I have added custom user keys for the MFCD's but Intel those systems are in place they don't do anything. There are five custom user keys that are used to interact and use the plane now. The keys and what they do are in the PDF that will be with the add-on. I think that answers your question.

Sorry, I misread your question. No ambient occlusion map. I changed specular in rvmat. I tried changing the shadow LOD and still had the problem. I dropped specular in rvmat. As you know how things work in real life is not always the case in Arma.

Yes, because the sun light reflection was to much, could not read the screens or see the panel instruments. And because their is no UI HUD on the top of the screen showing your speed, alt, and ammo, you have to rely on the panel instruments. I'm still working on the rvmat for that.

Yes, I did add hiddenSelections for different call signs and tail decals. Also going to include a template to make custom decals.

fullerpj and I talked about that and we are adding hiddenSelections for different camos and tail numbers to some of the planes. Also going to include a template to make custom tail numbers.

Right now with some of the limitations of Arma "F cycle" is the only way to select weapons. Am still working the DSMS system, My goal is to have weapon selection through the DSMS and you can turn that off and use "F cycle" if you want. New cockpit textures and digital clock added

We will look into that. The copilot will be able to help with the start up procedures and other systems, before takeoff and after landing.

I have started helping Fullerpj with this mod and actually the cockpit is not from Captai Sim's Legendary 707, the cockpit is from anther site, and we may not be using that model, The models are from another mod and permission has been given were needed. -
The A-10C is in it's alpha version and about to start closed testing for first release. Shooting for a alpha release first half of January. CCIP and CCRP and screen systems are going to take longer then planned, so will not be in alpha version.

I do like the J.S.R.S mod, but my A-10C uses different sounds that have not been used in Arma before and more pacific sounds for the A-10C including warning, landing gear, canopy, and weapon sounds.

The A-10C is the exact dimensions as the real A-10C, In Arma the size looks a little off because the Arma characters are bigger then a average person.

Everyone, keep in mind this is still a work in progress and not everything is finished. Rvmats are on my list but at the bottom, so what you see in the videos and photos is not necessarily how it's going to look when it's done.

The GAU-8 is not white, i'm using a steel texture. There are two variance of the GAU-8 black and steel.

I have looked into a targeting pod feature like Mando Missile ArmA for Arma 2 by Mandoble, But I have not been able to get a hold of Mandoble. If anyone knows how to get a hold of him plz PM me.

I would love to use the ACE CCIP and CCRP but, Sickboy does not take PM's from this forum and I have PMed other ACE members over two weeks with no reply. I have also put a ticket in through the ACE site with no reply. So I am looking for help making a new system. This is one of important and last parts of my A-10C that needs to be done, and It has come to the point where this is holding the mod back without it.
