An update: Busy with the latest OPTRE version releasing on friday. But i have some news, in this mod im including 2 fictional uniforms based off units in the halo universe that we saw little or no contact from. E2/BAG/1/7 (The unit im basing my unit off of) MCH 124 X (Based off a unit barely seen in halo reach) if you want any specific units from the haloverse reimagined or added in message me (I will not do specific ODST groups) -
Im working on a Zeus mission for a friends server with 3DEN but when i have the respawn script to have AI "Disabled" (Only shows up when you join in as them) and half the damned walls disappear. this only happens with 3DEN on Dev build. anyone know any solution until it is fixed without downgrading

that issue is simply the ai falling off a building or glitching into the floor, its a common arma bug

I have decided the first release will be Tyrk-like in the fact theres no units (besides basic riflemen) but there are the uniforms and vehicles (which are manned by said riflemen). As i have alot on my plate and the first release will be just directed to those who got bored of the basic OPTRE uniforms or wanted more uniforms themed off the games -

A bit of a progress update: things on this mod have kinda slowed down due to my job irl and also my job on the OPTRE dev team. But some new things regarding reskins: 4x Halo reach based Army Skins have been completed Halo Reach Concept art MP uniforms is in the works Halo 3 Marine Uniforms have been completed (For the most part, special hats and stuff still in works) Halo 3 Marine Concept art uniform Halo CE Anniversary Marine uniform is in progress -

It should be possible to make your own muzzle flashes, i havnt learned how but it makes complete logical sense as its a proxy to the weapon -

In regards to those uniforms, they are too dark for the A3 Engine, and would appear almost solid black. Dont worry though, it has inspired me for what to do with the textures of the OPCAN ODST -

a new BLUFOR faction announced for inclusion "Texan Militiamen" A brief description -Born off principles shared by both texans and americans, the TMCDF (Texas Militia & Civil Defence Force) is a group consisting of a wide variety of individuals aimed on protecting the Country. Armed with light Vehicles and light APCs (LAV command variants) and ranging from MD-500 Helicopters to Bell 412 (Unarmed version of UH-1Y with nose mounted FLIR with full color thermal). This faction is designed for Guerrilla vs Guerrilla style warfare against the Cartels Some of what is planned -Infantry Hunters (Using classic woodland hunting camo patterns) Veterans (Recently relieved from service) Volunteers (Armed Civilians) Militia instructors (Military personnel) -Cars Offroad Offroad (M2) SUV (A2 port) SUV (M134 AA) (A2 Port) -Armored LAV-25 (HQ variant) (A2 Port)-Air MD-500 (MH-9 reskin) Bell 412 (FLIR) (A2 Port) Pictures will come later on post-release. Yea in this alt History i dont wanna go into detail on how the US civil war affected them. As its plain out obvious if you think for about an hour. The CSAT cartels are not the only enemy by the way, there will also be CSAT Covert Forces dubbed "Red Tigers" hiding amongst their ranks. -

The main bugs as the mod is being developed Having issues with creating sub groups (men, men recon) The M240 and MK16 have bug where reloading prone makes unit freeze up and unable to shoot, move, switch weapons, and access inventory. Engagement ranges of ported weapons is not proper (optics do not affect their shooting distance, they only shoot withing 10 Meters, MK16 100 Meters occasionally) M240 Bravo Fire rate is a bit fast
