  1. Found older version of CUP which works on Linux/Mac at the bottom of this page: https://armaonunix.gitlab.io/modded.html
  2. "We will discuss and reply about the Linux compatibility issue. Is steam required for A3 on Linux?" Yes, both Linux and Mac versions of Arma 3 can be downloaded through Steam. There is no SteamOS or Mac icons next to Windows identifying that game works on these platforms because these are still "experimental ports", more about it here: https://dev.arma3.com/ports There is way to have the same version of Arma 3 for Windows, it is described in above link to ports description under "Limited multiplayer compatibility", in short this version of the game can be accessed on Windows using beta version code: "Arma3LegacyPorts". After downloading this version for Windows, MP can be shared with Mac and Linux clients. Windows Arma3LegacyPorts, Linux and Mac are running currently 1.64 which is first Apex release if I am correct. Because of that, mods build on newer version of the game won't work, there will be error on Linux like: "Bad version X in p3d file "Y.p3d", on Windows I think it simply closes the game without error. Unfortunately Linux and Mac ports are not often updated, that's why I am asking if anybody still owns older versions of CUP for 1.64 or earlier Arma 3 release? There is same issue with ACE, discussed here: https://github.com/acemod/ACE3/issues/3137
  3. Hi, does anybody own files for CUP_core and CUP_Terrain for legacy 1.64 Arma 3? Point is I play Linux version and it is not up to date with Windows version, the CUP newest files do not work with v1.64 unfortunately.

    Public Beta

Thank You, works like a charm on AMD 6520G, asus K53TK laptop, Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon, fglrx-updates from repo. Similar fps to Windows version, stable 20-25, no issues after few hours of gameplay.

    really... no omnidirectional movement?

You can make feature request in feedback tracker, but I'm not sure if it would be implemented because most people play with WSAD, it's probably not worth programming it. If you're requesting for some feature you should think about whole community, not only about small part of it unless it is issue which doesn't allow play the game. I have a tip for you too, write short sentences about what exactly is your problem and don't name threads like this one, because the way you presented your issue is at least annoying.
  7. Worth mentioning is that at first main Beryl (together with Pallad), Miniberyl and UKM models have been made by MTO (Mateusz Gałka), these models have been updated later by me and Kane. laxentis, if you could add MTO to credits, he surely owns it more than me. :)

    Scope Mod A3

Amazing models and textures, pure art. Waiting for more. Are you modelling just scopes for Arma3, or you're planning to model something else too?
  9. "Still having issues with people's teamspeak not connecting to ACRE" It is mostly because people are not running Arma3 with admin rights. To do this go to steam/SteamApps/common/Arma 3 and make arma3.exe shortcut on desktop. Click on shortcut properties -> compatibility -> run as administrator. Same goes for TeamSpeak's .exe. Running game from steam library or steam shortcut doesn't work with ACRE, at least it did not work when I tried it last time probably few weeks ago. :)
