  1. The six updater just saved my mind from going insane. I can finally play mods with SP missions and be able to save and revert back to the same save! Also, no messages about deleted contents or "this addon requires this addon" crap! Now I have a question, does the six updater launch the game using the mods that are in my root arma 2 folder or does it use mods from the SIX network? If from my Arma root folder, then this means the six laucnher is updating/installing/verifying what it's in my ARMA 2 @mod folders? I'm confused on how it works because I see them installing and updating but not sure where or what it's doing it to. Thank you!

I second this, lordjarhead definitly need to work for BIS. I'm sick and tired of BIS talking big smack about realism this and realism that. Then ,when you play the game, you get garbage sound effects that make ARMA sound like Counter Strike. Sound effects are a factor on the battlefield as well and should be simulated just as much as bullet projectile and combat tactics. JSRS definitly accomplishes the sound portion! We definitly look forward to ARMA 3 JSRS mod because I just heard the default for ARMA 3 sound effects and once again, they sound like garbage (I'm not surprised). No distant fire scripts even at all! The majority of the fights are from distances damn it! Corny sonic sounds, cracks and snaps. Will donate to lordjarhead's cause when I can! Cheers to ARMA 3 JSRS! Let us know if you need testing or help!

The best sound mod there is for Arma II is JSRS. You definitly hit the nail on the head. Anyone that has spent some time on a battlefield knows this mod is the closest to realistic combat sounds as it gets. The BEST feature of this mod are the distant fire scripts ( LOVE THEM reminds me of Afghanistan and the only sound mod that has achieved this!), the sonic sounds and cracks, and the metallic noises when firing a weapon. Very well done, lordjarhead! Looking forward to ARMA III and more of your work elsewhere!
  4. Ok, so I've searched the forums about this and the answers aren't quite what I am looking for. This whole problem is partially due to my misunderstanding on how addons in Arma II work. I'm currently trying to play the mission made by SAOK called Zub and another one called Whole lotta War. With them, I'm using JSRS mod and CBA_CO. Well, when trying to save in the mission, I cannot resume due to deleted content ( I never deleted anything). Some of the deleted contents have to do with ACE or ACEX content. If you search these missions, neither them require ACE contents or ACEX contents but to give the game what it wants I downloaded them and set up the mod folders as required. Ok, so shouldn't have a problem right? Nope, if I try to save and resume or revert I still continue to get deleted content errors and I'm not able to play. Mind you, this will happen with any mission i decide to play in and try to resume or revert to a saved game. If I'm able to play a mission with the addons installed how do they suddenly just dissapear and claim to be deleted? What am i doing wrong and what do I need to do to be able to play SP missions with addons? If you're wanting to know what kind of content is deleted, I can tell you it's something different everytime i get the message. How is it getting deleted!?!? Thanks guys for your help but this is a problem I've had since the very first ARMA. I've done my best researching but I have lost the battle.
