Thank you guy! I actually just got that aspect of my mission working with Igneous01's solution. I think my problem with landing was because I had allowFleeing set to 1. I fixed it now and now if we are detected it lands right near us and a commando squad jumps out and attacks while the chopper flies away. As for the spotlight, I got that working earlier using another piece of script I found, I think it's just a spotlight at getpos, but it's good enough for this mission.

It looks good, but if I can't use the loop or sleep in a trigger (I tried it caused the game to freeze and it didn't work) how would I go about using it? Do I have to figure it out without the loop or sleep or is there another way to use it

Hey guys I have a complex one here for you. I am having my team move in during a night mission, but they are ambushed and forced to retreat. The enemy (AI) launches a search helicopter, (with spotlight on). I have been trying to figure out how to make them land near us on detection. I know how to set up the trigger and search, but how can I make them land near us? We could be in a large area of space, so when it finds us it needs to know to land near us, so I can't just set a transport unload waypoint. Any ideas?

But see you only ever visit a few places. You never once go to the lower half of the island. ---------- Post added at 21:06 ---------- Previous post was at 21:00 ---------- It sucks. It's way to linear, and just fast. I took my time, I did everything with precision. Recon, setting an ai in overwatch, stealthing.. Still finished fast. The only objective I didn't get was mortars on the radio silence. Hell wet works and the heli mission both sucked. Short, extremely linear, and just boring. The best missions so far = 2 and radio silence. The campaign in Arma 2 was way better in many ways. -

You're right, but at the same time I was guessing based on my 3 hour play time on max skill level. If I was playing recruit I bet I could of had it in 2 hours. -

This campaign is really pissing me off. Was it only Drawdown 2035 to Tipping Point or have I not downloaded everything? It took me less than 3 hours to beat it. It's really making me mad I was expecting a decent length campaign but so far this is a joke. Please, for the love of GabeN tell me I didn't download the actual campaign. -

Hey guys I'm running into a small snag on one of my missions. I need to switch the side that independent favors while mid mission. Mission: The mission is a blackops falseflag operation. You one other player are dropped in, in the middle of the night. You have to assault an Opfor base, and steal some of their guns. Then you have to go to a small town where they townspeople are gathered in the church. You have to gun them all down and leave the enemy weapons at the scene. When you kill them all, a local Independent HMG truck hears the the gunshots and come to investigate. You have to escape before they see you, and when they get to the church independent support should switch from Opfor to Blufor. Any Ideas?
