this also happens to me in certain servers . i found 1 wasteland so far that does not do it for me for hours then it sometimes starts , then i go to the lobby and come back in and its fixed. it just so happens to be an australian server with high ping (im in us). try it out its called steak and beer.

ive tried many different tweak guides and different settings . ive found none that had an impact on my fps issues. i have an issue when playing wasteland my fps drops and its like a skip or stutter (which makes un playable)and it go from 30-23 , 23-17 , etc depending on the server. i tried several other suggestions from other threads none really helping . changing my settings in game dont seem to affect it much either. any suggestions? anyone with this issue? heres my specs CPU: AMD 965 BE 3.4ghz MOBO: ASUS Crosshair V FZ RAM: GSKILL RIPJAWS SX 8G 1600mhz GPU: Gigabyte 7870 ghz edtion PSU: 650 w XFX BE SSD: Kingston Hyper X 3K HDD: WDBE 1TB OS:WIN 7 x64 Cpu Cooler: Antec 620

arma is a good game that needs some development direction. the attacks on me for giving my honest opinion. the ""Author"" of the post wanted opinions about the game. i gave him mine. i would like to warn him of the issues that affect me and lots of others. just do your homework on the game. i have a arma 3 lite i will give him if he wants , but i dont think it has mp though . i dont expect a fully polished game in alpha but the responses i have seen from the devs regarding some of the issues , dont give me hope. look at there first response on the hacking issue going on right now. and look at the response about this games poor optimization. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?147533-Low-CPU-utilization-amp-Low-FPS theres one post about a serious issue the other was about the hacking issue. i couldnt find that thread. but make your own decision.

yea then you can go back to playing with only 10 players max in your 2 to 3 servers that will be active. ""dayz-influx of cry babies into Arma community"" without day z there would be no arma 3 until prob 5 more years . arma 2 sales where didnt go any where till the 1 million from day z bought it.

dont buy until they fix ALL the issues. i made the mistake of paying for an alpha.
