You can setPos a trigger as any other object in the editor. Give the trigger a name like "hostagecheck" - but don't mix text with name fields (happens to me sometime) and in your init.sqf then move the trigger to the captive position after some delay: sleep 1; hostagecheck setPos getPos hostage1; hostage1 would be the name of your hostage.

Holy f*ck!!! This is... wow just wow. I've never seen any video like that with Arma engine yet. Whoever this guy is who made this: Hats off to you, you're a true artist - a class of it's own. Typical for iGeneration : I want it all, I want it for free and I want it now!!! Everywhere it was said that the Alpha Lite will not have MP. Yet they come and complain about something they got for free (how stupid that is?). And to make it even better they come and demand things others had to pay for, like: I don't care if others paid 20+ bucks for the Alpha with MP - I want MP for free in my free Lite version. Oh what will they cry when they find out that the Lite version will have only a limited lifetime? They sure as hell come and said they have been cheated. :D But I think this can be closed. TS dropped his rant and obviously won't come back.

That would suck, I'm just done with downloading the massive Demo4. I wonder what they packed into this almost 4GB of a Demo but I will be damned if its not worth every MB. Can't wait to try it out later and set my feet back onto Kolgujev. :)

Could someone of you nice people please make a SR-47 and maybe a SR-74 for us? With people like you I'm sure their future is bright. They sell you a totally bugged product, then need months to deliver a patch - of course without letting their customers know what is going on. Then they release a quick DLC and finally disappear without any word. On top of that they don't allow modding to make sure they can sell more DLCs. And now after they ran away like cowards they have not even the balls to say sorry or provide something so people can at least mod their shit. But yes, at the Crysis community they surely find even more people they can milk. At least until they shut down everything in a night and then move on to yet another game when they have enough money and being sick of complaining customers. Investor canceled it? Yeah sure. And of course they are not allowed to even make a statement that they close down the forums and won't provide any more support. They lie at you and you believe it without even asking questions. Exactly the type of customer they need. I wonder why after this ripoff this crap here has even a forum. The IF44 horse is dead, it's a shame anyone still provides them a platform after all.

Good old Sui. I wonder where he is these days. Played all of his great missions and several times. They would be worth a try to port them to this Mod. But I think my knowledge isn't good enough to do that anytime soon.

If you need a certain mission from OFP, ask W0lle. Some days back he told me has a hell lot of collected missions on his HD. That crazy guy must have thousands of them. At his age, he will never be able to convert them all. Must install original too, just to have a look at original missions when I try to make them available in CWR2

Ohh I just found this now. Remember this was in Arma1 as well and playing it there a bit before my PC broke. So good to see my OFP back in ArmA2 :) Hopefully you nice people can finish this in good quality because I think this is what I stay with in Arma2. Who needs stupid future Arma3 when he can play the original. Soon when Im back in editing I will do some missions for this.

And now you tell us that if Steam goes down you release a patch and all is good. And the then missing server browser? Is then no more needed or what? Your patch then brings your own serverbrowser? Or returns to gamespy which then all of sudden is good enough again? I maybe get bans for that now but you either dont know what story you tell where - or you are just telling blatant lies. This shows one more time that the whole "Steam is soo badly needed" is just a stupid excuse. But... but... but, but haven't they said so? Must be true then, else... else they would lying no? I don't need Steam for Patching, Serverbrowser, adding addons and missions. I wonder what retards there are who can't add a folder on their drive or running an .exe file.
