  1. Hello, i will inform you, that i work at a new Map since january 2015. I build a part of the isle Rügen in germany. I placed all roads at the exact original position, so that you can navigate around the map with real roadmaps. More than 200 Models are build to made the map more realistic. Some Facts: Region: Rügen, Germany Size: 25 x 25 km Terrain Models: More than 200 new models Map: 100% original roadmap 100% original towns and citys 80% of the map are finished.   3. thanx for your replay. i don't know, where the buildings at the end of the airstrips comes from. There is no building set in the Editor. The "cracks" between some roadtiles are not my fault. The roadpainter V2.0 have made this cracks. All cracks to fix will be a lifetimework. All other issues will be fixed with the next Patch in aprox. 2 Weeks. regards

  5. Hi, i have tryed some options. My terrainbuilder now freezes only for a few seconds. try this: 1.) Set in the taskmanager the CPU affinity of terrainbuilder to Core 1 and core 2. 2.) Set the Terrainbuilder.exe to Win7 compatible and check "running as Administrator". EDIT: I have changed the CPU affinity to only one core. Set priority in the Taskmanager to very high. Running Terrainbuilder without a running Steam. ​No freezes or crashes for four hours of work. regards
  6. Hello, i have the same Problem here. My PC stuck after any action in Terrain Builder. Operations like open, save or any other let Tb stuck and nothing helps. Only RESET! I have imported my two maps from Visitor3 source into TB, all fine. If i try to work with the imported map, TB crashes or stuck. This horrible tool is the point, why i made my maps with Visitor 3, for Arma II. I dont know, why Visitor was changed to this crappy and buggy TB? My specs; CPU: Intel core i5-4670 @3,4 GHz RAM: 8 GB GPU: NVIDEA 570 GTX Black ED. ​Display: 1 x 32" Toshiba WIde 1 x 23" Acer Wide System: Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit Can anybody help? regards falconsan

  8. yes, i know. Its only the workingtexture to place roads, buildings and wood exactly at the original position. In the final will be a new groundtexture. regards

  11. Yes, PMC has made a rügen map, but more than 900 km² Land and the same size of the sea compressed to fit into 25x25 km. I made only a small pice of rügen. My Towns, roads, woods, water and all other things placed at exatct positions. You can see this here: The next two shows, that all Roads and buildings at the original positions or near by. ORIGINAL: Build: I have made so,e of the POIs like the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt tower or the steamtrain "rasender Roland": There will be a lot to discover. Not only for DayZ.   13. Hello, i have a little Problem with Faces and Shadows. I have made a face, with a windowhole. all is fine. Now, i create the four faces around the hole as a frame for the Windows. the first two parts of the frame are allright. if i add a third part, a shadow will be at the bottom frame. It looks horrible and is not wanted. Let me show: two peaces from the frame at the top and bottom, is all fine... after adding the third pice of the frame: and so is a similar fault shadow in Game: any solutions or ideas?? regards falconsan
  14. Hello, i have used the search before, but no solution found. My HDD is going up in smoke so that i have to reinstall all tools. My map is made with BIS Editing Tools 2.5. and all was fine before my hdd was killed. Bulldozer has loaded my map in 2 - 3 Minutes. Thats ok! Now i have all reinstalled on a brand new ssd. BIS Tools 2.5 is no more aviable in the BIS wiki. Only 2.5.1. After installing that version, my map need aprox. 30 Minutes to 1 hr to load in bulldozer to hang up after a few seconds. All what i see is "Inserting some Objects". What t. f. is going on? My System: Intel Core i5-4670 @3,4Ghz 8GB RAM Nvidia gtx570 1,2 GB RAM 2 x SSD 128 GB 1 x 1 TB HDD Windows 7 pro Is there any Config etc. where i can speed up the loadingprocess? regards falconsan - DayZ Epoch Sauerland DEV -
  15. hello, i am working at some models. Now, i have a little problem. How can i put sounds into a model like door sounds, engine vents etc.? i have used the search before, but nothing found about that. I dont know/understand to handle this in the model/config file. can anybody explain or help? PS: does the o2 buldozer play sounds at preview of an animation? regards
  16. Hello, i am a littlebit frustrated. My proxymodels are not shown in the game. To test the proxys, i have made a LOD (1.000). In this lod, i created a quader as a floor. On this floor i have put a proxymodel (\Ca\Structures\Furniture\generalstore\shelf). Saved and binarized. If i run the game, the proxy is not shown. If i load the model into the buldozer, the proxymodel is shown. whats the problem? I have used the forumsearch, but no solution found or i have, english is not my nativ, not understand some text. regards

    BI Editing Tools 2.5.1

    Can no one help? i have tryed many things: - Format C: and Windows reinstalled. - Fresh clean Arma installed. - BI Tools 2.5.1 installed. Visitor 3 started, and the ! butten pressed. Bulldozer starts and after a while Bulldozer crashed. With BI Tools Version 2.5 all works fine for me but with 2.5.1 is no working possible. Is there any way to download Version 2.5? regards
  18. Hello, i have used the search, but no solution found. My Problem: i have used the roadtool from visitor 3. After adding roadtiles, the road was sudden disappeared, but still shown in buldozer. After restarting visitor 3 and loading the map, the road was still exist in buldozer but not in visitor. Deleteing all objects from the artificial List doesn't help. Now, i have a road in the map, but i cant editing, deleting oder something else do with the road. This road ist totaly missplaced and must be ereased.   19. Hello, i have a realy big Problem. i cant compile my map. I have with my Map "DayZ Epoch Sauerland" reached a 410 MB mark and BinPBO log says: "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." If i delete some trees or roads or what else to have only 409 MB, BinPbo will binarize the map. The map is only 80% finished. Is there a limit in the Engine for models? I have aprx 5,5 Million models in the map. regards
  20. All options are correct set. BinPbo confused me. Example: I can binarize my map correctly, after a few hours without changing anything at the map, binarize wont compile the same file. why? If i install a clean new System, binarize will work correct. After restart of the computer, it will not binarize the same file. I think the reason is a installed Windowsupdate that binpbo will not work correct. any solutions? The community waits for the Epoch Sauerland update and i cant compile the map... *cry* regards falconsan

  22. Hello, is there a Limit how much Models / Obejects can be into a map or is there a limit how big a wrp file can be? Problem: My map (DayZ Epoch Sauerland) reaches the 5 Million Objects mark and wont compiled by BinPbo. Ok, deleted 500 000 Objects (p_heracleu.p3d, p_carduus.p3d etc.) And the map wil be compiled. After that, i added some new Models and reworked some regions. The Objects will not be more as before, but The map wont be compiled. hmm.. the Map reaches 500 MB mark. Ok. some Objects killed. Map has now 450 MB and will be compiled. So, is there a Llmitation of some parameters like mapsize, Item count etc. ? regards falconsan map: DayZ Epoch Sauerland

  24. Hello, i have tryed a little search before, but no solution found. If i load my map into buldozer, all models are low detailed and buldozer works very slowly. It is very hard to do an exactly positioning of models with this situation . If i use -maxMem=1024 all models are shown high detailed and buldozer works fast but crashes after a while with flickering ground or flickering models. I have enough RAM (8GB) and Windows with Visitor and loaded Map uses 5GB. I am a littlebit frustrated about that. My System: AMD Athlon II X4 620(2.60 GHz) 8 GB Ram Windows 7 64Bit Nvidia Gtx 570 1280 MB RAM Any solutions? regards
  25. Hello, i have a little Problem with Visitor3. When i mark trees (I think round about 1 Million) all is fine. When i try to delete the marked Objects with "DEL", the "Out of memory" error occur. What? Visitor uses with loaded Map aprox. 5GB. No Problem because 11 GB Ram left. Why Visitor dont use the whole fucking RAM? It Sux to delete over 6 Million Trees and bushes in pices of 10k. Mark, delete, mark, delete ... :) Is there a Startoption of Visitor 3 to use more RAM? Regrads falconsan
