  1. Before I start I want to state that I know the meaning of Alpha, and that nothing so far is final. I love ArmA II(2), it is seriously the best game I have ever playied. Unlike most games out there, it is a game that traded smootheness and speed for the real impotant thing: immersion. It feels real because thats what it aims for. Now ArmA III is closer to its release and I couldnt be more excited. So I bought the alpha right away and played it. It felt unfinished but that i was expecting being an alpha, but more than that it felt like a different game, from a different series of games. Everything I loved about ArmA II seems to have been traded for fast unreal movements, weightlessness, increased pace in all directions, unrealistic color corrected visuals, tracer bullets everywhere. It honestly feels like ArmAIII is steping down to games such as BF3, MW, smoothing everything and loosing its care for fine realistic details in the overall feel of the game. Please dont loose the simulation and immersion of ArmA it would make it just another Fps out there.

    Better animations?

Totally agree with OP, ArmA III animations are very unrealistic( i seriously prefer ArmAIIs animations and overall speed of game), the characters looks weightless. That for me is a huge bummer, since i always thought the best thing about ArmA was its imersion in game, i would never trade natural feel of the game for smoothness, real life isnt smooth everytime. For me ArmA III is steping down to become more like BF3 and less like ArmA series, loosing its slow and calculated gameplay for a random shootout like most fps games now a days...
  3. It would be cool to have a way of shouting (direct comm. with higher volume, a longer reach radius and maybe some filters to simulate a shout, maybe echo, reverb along with the stereo location ) while voiping in direct channel. If a squad is under fire, shouting would come in handy to both communicate and locate mates without the use of side channel and with the help of regular radio auto-comm. I know this is more of a suggestion of something that could be improved, but i want to stress the need of this type of communication inside a squad during stressful times simply because it is something i always see on firefight footages, i think it is something that would immerse the player even more. I dont know if it would work the way i think it should, probably not because i seldom see people using direct comunication with this intent. But I think it is worth a try, maybe thinking ways of achiving this shouting comm even with ingame voice commands(pre-recorded ingame voices). Thanks! And Sorry for my english im not American and im still learning. I will attach some funker 530 footage that illustrate the kind of useage i think shouting would have.
