A Pakistan (OPFOR) vs India (BLUFOR) mod, with Kashmir as the scenery. Would make sense too since Pakistan is the eastern tip of that Persian region, and India's in the western tip of the SEA area which is kinda BLUFOR. North Korea vs South Korea, because it's always fun to have the east Asian front. The Arab League in the "Independent" faction. Since Iran and Saudi Arabia are pretty much worst enemies. I don't know if many of you guys have heard of this but there's this organization made and quickly developing called the SCO, the Shanghai Co-operation Organization. And it's made to counter-balance NATO. It currently comprises China, Russia and several Central Asian Republics like Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan etc. That would be a very strong third force. And actually I'd really like to see a scenario where Israel faces Palestine. Like maybe by 2035, Iran funds Palestine to create an armed struggle resulting in them getting like half of that region and armed with captured Israeli stuff (like Merkava's) so pretty advanced. And the other half being Israel. We can have a full-scale war in that tiny area that would be all important strategically. A lot of these would be maybe unrealistic or unpractical. But I think all except the Korean one would be very relevant to the overall theme.

Well, I think it would be kinda cool if this army is part of the "independent" faction. A kind of unpredictable ally. A point to consider maybe.

Would it be correct to assume that an updated version of the Taki Extension will be released in the future based on pics of the F-5? Because I would really like to see a decent air to air interceptor in the Taki Air Force. :)

Meaning the ability to stand on moving trucks without falling, or stand at the entrance of a moving truck while being able to manually shoot things behind it. The same applies to helicopters and ships.

I think adding the GAZ Tigr is a good idea. It's 2013, America will probably have something better than Humvees, so Takistan really needs something similar to the Humvee at least.

There's also the AK-103, a modern rifle that's in use in several middle eastern countries. That might be worth a look too.

Helmets look better now. Guns: For me it's Galil and Type 95 (Chinese).

Much better. Btw vanilla Takistani soldiers don't have NVG's. The helmets are okay, but the thing that's slightly wrong I think is that they are green. So it doesn't exactly go with the rest of the outfit. Because the uniform theme is kinda brownish, maybe a tan/beige helmet would look more appropriate. I was just thinking if it was possible to have a Ka-60 helicopter for this side. The one the PMC has. It's Russian, and it's barely been used in any addon. That would be interesting.

Here's a few stuff I noticed, to help you out with the progress: Here's a few problems I had as of now: I think you forgot to replace the Russian stars on the helicopters. Maybe replace the aircraft textures with a more plain one. The pattern of the Su-25 looks kinda...messy for a plane imo. I think the shoulder patch bears the CDF flag. Suggestions: It would be cool if they had presently modern Russian fighters. Because by 2035, they will be kinda old. I'm thinking Su-33, since it's already made. Maybe a small navy. Chinese weapons. By 2035, I'd expect China to be very strong if things keep going the way they are. So it would be awesome to see something other than western and Russian weapons. And China has started exporting their stuff nowadays. Still awesome nonetheless. :)

Well yeah I suppose, never mind...ignore me. Good luck on it! I guess the high-tech wars are good for Russia and America. Takistan is more guerilla-style.

Well yes, but I don't think Arma 2 has a storyline of how weapons got where. But even so, Ukraine has retired them from military service, maybe Takistan could buy them. The reason I think it'd be cool is that Takistan is too weak, really needs some work if you ask me.

I absolutely have, and I loved it!:D It is what I use currently. The problem arises with the vehicles. I've got the infantry, and it's easy to pretend Takistan is Pakistan so even got vehicles for that. But the problem is India, don't have anything like Indian vehicles. I agree with Dmitri, it would probably be out of scope, but I'm still hopeful. Your weaponholders rock though btw as well as the weapon sound effects! Another request, I did search this forum and couldn't find anything of the like: Are there any battle cries for ARMA 2? Like in reality, I know Middle Eastern Armies do use religious phrases like "Allah-u-Akbar" and "La-Illaha-Illalah" during gun fights. And I'm sure western ones do too, stuff like "Hooaah" and the sort. Ignore this request if you think it would be racist, but I personally don't. And I am a Muslim too so I don't find them anti-Islam, I just find them realistic. In fact, as a Muslim, it would kinda honor me since you know you don't have to be BLUFOR in ARMA 2. But, if to keep religion aside, someone decides to leave the first two chants, and instead do ones related to nationality, I do think it would be an interesting addition. Is it in anyway possible?

They're very well equipped, and what makes them very interesting is that they both are mixtures of eastern and western weaponry. Pakistan's got American F-16s, Russian T-80s as well as several Chinese tanks and aircraft like the J-10 that will soon be delivered. India's got Russian Su-30s and are about to get French Rafales. That serves as a wide range of scenarios where sometimes it's east vs east, west vs west and east vs west. Weapons from all over the world face each other. Plus I don't think it's too hard to make. Takistan is already very similar to Pakistan already in more ways than one. And since Pakistan and India have a fair amount in common, the language can be the same, faces can be the same and what not. So I hope someone is interested in the idea. I think it would make a great mod.

Hey thanks! Su-33...I don't know, too advanced maybe. The problem with the Su-24 is that, it's great but, in reality it's role is very similar to the Su-25 which Takistan already has. Su-33 is just a beautiful plane, my personal favorite, but I'd rather an F-16 just to keep a bit more balance between the Russian and American equipment the army has. Or the Mig-29, because there's a huge lack of Fulcrums in the game.

Hi guys, I'm new-ish here but I've been following this site for quite a long time. Anyway, I loved the addon but I would like to contribute some constructive criticism here about the TK extension of your project. If you follow the comments on armaholic, I did try there but the commenting is not very followed I think. So here's some suggestions: 1)-Even though this addon increases aircraft, there is something missing in the air force...a higher-end air to air fighter. I mean like a Mig-29 or an F-16, that sort of standard. Because American F-15's and F-18's are gonna take down Mig-21's or Su-22's any day of the week. But have it up against these two planes, and you have a challenge on your hands! 2)-This addon makes the TK army a bit too inclined to the eastern side. The original army is a mix of eastern and western weaponry. Maybe replacing the Su-22 with an F-4 or an F-5 would make a difference. But then again, adding an F-16 would also do the trick. 3)-Takistan still has no navy. Whereas it's made to be a landlocked sort of country, there's too many addons that almost everyone has in which Takistan has a coastline. So a small navy would be awesome. And it spices stuff up anyway! 4)-Maybe it's a good idea to add some Chinese equipment to the army. China has begun to start making it's own tanks and exporting them, just a thought. Don't get me wrong, I think this addon is great, just that these few things might make stuff perfect, and make the TK army a complete army. And I'm really interested in that because I love playing as Takistan.

Yeah that will add to BLOFOR diversity. And to the game as a whole.

Is this mod still on? If so, is there any release date roughly.
