Thanks for the quick reply! I meant the actual airframe should have the tail end lower when hovering. BI got the angle of the rotor right by putting it at a slight forward angle, but they failed to use the correct angle for the airframe. If you have trouble visualizing, just google a video of a -60 hovering and you'll see there is a noticably depressed tail end of the airframe while maintaining a hover. Have a good NYE all!

Great -60 Pack! Have you thought about changing the color to a more realistic olive drab like the ones that are used in RHS? Also, would you consider changing the helicopter hovering angle to be more realistic? As demonstrated in Yurapetrov's -60s from arma 2, the real hovering angle for a uh-60 is about five degrees lower on the tail end. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)
dbelnomi replied to soul_assassin's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Another suggestion to add to the asymmetric nature of rhs having two different armies present and with different doctrines for both would be to use more accurate armor values for both sides armor vehicles (especially tanks). This site: http://www.theworldwars.net/resources/protect.htmit has assembled a great list of armor values for each tank and the varying of these values based on the place on the tank i.e. turrent and glacis.- 16574 replies

RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)
dbelnomi replied to soul_assassin's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Awesome mod, but I do have one realism suggestion. Certain helicopters like the UH-60M, CH-47, AH-64, and CH-53 all have improper rotor angels that help with crashes. While all the heli's ingame are hovering at a 0 degree grade, in actuality the tail end should be lower by about 5 degrees. This allows the helicopter to use their shock absorbent landing gear much more effectively (google oleo landing gear). This case is especially evident in the UH-60. I believe that a simple change to these helos will not only make them more realistic but also improve gameplay and make landing easier, especially in an auto rotation.- 16574 replies

First, I must say this mod is utterly perfect! Thank you so much for making it RHS. Second, I want to ask if there if anyone knows of a bug where the agm-114l hellfires don't do damage to armor. I've used the hellfires on the apache as well as the cobra and it seems that the hellfire hits the target but fails to damage the vehicle.- 16574 replies

Can't wait for the Kiowa release ADuke! Keep up the great work! Also, have you thought about making a UH-60 for Arma 3 or porting one of your older ones? I'd love to see one of your 60's or Yurapetrov's grace the skies of Arma 3.

Arma 2 Addon request thread
dbelnomi replied to Placebo's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
I'm with Scarecrow398 in regards to having a port of Yurapetrov's UH-60's ported to Arma 3. His work on the UH-60 absolutely blows away the generic one put out by BI. How much work would it take to get his blackhawk's ported? -

Thanks for the quick response :)!! And my amount of addons aren't even close to your example, I probably have about 50 total and they have never affected my game play frame rate and the games has never crashed on me what so ever, but when I was first downloading all them awhile ago I had the same problem with conflicting addons, and let me tell you it was the biggest pain in my a$$ manually testing each file haha. Oh and by the way I think I now know where to place the files but while attempting to transfer the customizable addons in the addon folder that houses the main addons I received an error message stating that the operation could not be preformed, any suggestions? Lastly, I have made a separate file for the war mod so there is no longer the problem of adding the mod to an occupied folder. -

Hey guys I want to download this cause it looks like it will add a boat load of realism but I do have one question, since I have a ton of addons I started putting all of the pbos into one addon folder. Could I just add all of the addons from this mod into the same folder or is it imperative that it has its own folder? Also, I'm a little confused on where to put all the different types of files so if you could tell me where the different things go that could be really helpful. (and just so you know I have read the word files and I was still left confused) thanks DBelnomi -
Boeing/SOAR MH-47E Release v1.3
dbelnomi replied to konyo's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
That's because the pitch of the main or front rotor is at an angle, if you look at any ch-47 that's hovering its going to be at the angle. :)
