  1. Hey guys, Just got a brand new computer after my last one basically fried and I'm completely back up but I'm encountering one error. When I go in game and shoot while standing still it will sound fine with rare crackling in between shots and the sound raises maybe one shot out of 10. However, when I start to move the sound lowers while I shoot and when I stand it rises back up again. I have a Logitech G35 and am using 7.1 Surround Sound, drivers SHOULD be up to date. Can anyone help please? It would be much appreciated. By the way, sorry if this is written poorly. It's 1:30 in the morning so I'm kinda tired.
  2. Any modders out there ever thought of doing jump towers for airborne training? It's pretty essential if you have an airborne unit and it would be easier to explain the rules of jumping out of an airplane than the LOUD,MOVING C-130 (A C-17 Globemaster would be nice too) Example: https://www.google.com/search?q=fort+benning+jump+towers&aq=f&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=VG2eUe-wEon28wSh2IGgAw&biw=1600&bih=799&sei=VW2eUeeNMom68AStoIDYCQ#facrc=_&imgrc=RAD4RZArzafgyM%3A%3BBeNruLKe2MAFBM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.flightsim.com%252Fvbfs%252Fattachment.php%253Fattachmentid%253D87309%2526stc%253D1%2526d%253D1294054513%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.flightsim.com%252Fvbfs%252Fshowthread.php%253F224649-Fort-Benning-Jump-Towers%3B585%3B616

  5. Task Force 243 Hello there! Task Force 243 is looking for players who are into fun, tactics, and realism. However, we don't want to go overboard on realism like most units. You know what I'm saying? I, personally, am tired of units claiming how realistic they are and focusing on realism more than playing. ArmA 2 is a great game/simulator, and we need to view it as just that. We all bought this amazing game because, admit it, you want action. Task Force 243 is a perfect combination of fun, tactics, and realism. Here's why: Fun - Tired of joining a unit only to find yourself sitting on a hill for hours at a time? I know we are. Here, it's all about the action. We have sniper/spotter teams that do that, but everyone else will be seeing action like you've never seen it before. Tactics - You can't have fun when everyones dying because they went solo or did something stupid. Task Force 243 likes to employ real-world tactics to ensure that our soldiers don't get too out of hand while at the same time maintaining a sense of realism. Realism - Of course, some units are very accomplished as total realism units. However, we prefer to play as a semi-realistic group. When I say semi-realistic, I mean we do use a rank structure but we aren't completely serious when in-game (remember, it is just a game). We still want to use tactics and play in an organized fashion. Oh, what's that? You want to know more about our organization and what we do? Alright! Task Force 243 is split into two teams, called Advanced Force Operations, or AFOs. These AFOs carry out different tasks, while working together to accomplish a common goal. Please note that the AFOs and the units inside of them are open to all. AFO Jupiter - Considered our hard-hitting group. AFO Jupiter consists of soldiers from the 75th Ranger Regiment, Air Force PJs, and pilots from the 160th SOAR. Tasks of this group include, but are not limited to direct action, reconnaissance, and hostage rescue. AFO Poseidon - Consists of operators from DEVGRU and Delta. Tasks of this group include, but are not limited to direct action, reconnaissance, hostage rescue, unconventional warfare, and the apprehension of HVTs Want more information? 7. Hi there, just wondering if anyone can give me a step by step detailed tutorial on how to add a custom unit (such as Binkowski's USMC soldiers) to Insurgency. I'm not sure which file to go to or what to edit in the file, but I do have the tools to open the files so that is no problem. Thank you, the help is appreciated :)
  8. This may be the wrong section but as the title states, I need someone to help make a training mission for my unit! PM me or add me on Steam: Wassy4 Thanks!
  9. Is there anyway I could do this? I started a unit with two friends of mine and want to create a unique Insurgency mission exclusive to our unit. Please help!!! It would be much appreciated!
