111th Special Operations Group - 18+ Milsim Unit Recruiting Now !

What is the 111th S.O.G. ? The 111th Special Operations Group is modeled after the small direct action paramilitary units employed by the C.I.A.. As a component of the Special Activities Division, the 111th SOG is a highly trained group tasked with the most secretive missions in the world. Using every tier 1 specialty and asset in its arsenal the group takes on missions that include everything from hostage rescue, HVT assassinations, reconnaissance, demolition, and sabotage are just a small sample of the types of missions it takes on. Who are we looking for ? The 111th SAD/SOG is currently rebooting our group from the ground up. We have already acquired a few new candidates and are looking to grow our ranks. We are a small and tight knit group of friends that enjoy ARMA 3 COOP milsim training and missions. We are mature older professionals looking for those out there that want to experience ARMA 3 MilSim in a "New to MilSim" friendly environment. For those out there that are brand new to ARMA or brand new to MilSim, we provide a great place to learn the ropes and will walk you through the entire process from installing your mods, to setting up your ARMA settings and training with our unit. We are also of course interested in those that are experienced ARMA players or those who have mission building experience. We are about 6 in size right now and want to be around the 16 unit member mark. Its a small number but we thrive off of that "small direct action unit" vibe. Again we are just starting and rebooting the group. We already have over 30 missions and 15 training scenarios we run regularly throughout the week and we also run large scale COOP mission on the weekends. 111 S.O.G. Hey no prob ineptaphid ! Glad your enjoying the show. To answer your question about doing an episode on the singleplayer experience.... dont worry we got some big plans for doing just that very thing. We will also be doing big shows on being new to arma, doing an entire episode on breaking point, and wasteland, we have an a couple episodes planned for the singleplayer campaign etc etc. We def have some good things coming up with alot of variety.

Thanks massi I will give that a try. Haves loved your work since back in the arma 2 days. Thanks for the continued effort and especially the HD units Ok Update. I deleted the vehicle pack and redownloaded from scratch. That solved the F35 error i was getting, Now I am recieving this error No entry.... O_Mas_T90_OFP_01.scope I am guessing maybe the same issue, so i am going to try and redownloading the vehicle pack again. i am pulling from PwS -

Anyone else getting this issue. Upon hitting the main menu of ARMA i get this error after updating my massi mods. 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/mas_F_35C_cap.scope' Just curious, i am currently trying different things. Also thanks for the update Massi, love the HD additions to some of the units -

ArmA Updates Are Really Feeling Rushed And I'm Seriously Questioning Buying Apex

Interesting topic Reckless. I have thought about this lately myself, and while i may not fully agree that the updates feel rushed, (because i don't). I do agree that perhaps some sort of better communication with mod makers in regards to what changes are coming and how to prepare for them. I get the frustration, especially with the "mods getting broken with every update" feeling. But I don't necessarily think that BI should or can take every mod in to account when trying to make the best game they can. They as the developers should be focusing on the game that they end up releasing. What we know as the vanilla game. But again i agree with you on the mod breaking issue. Maybe more communication or something is the key. Its frustrating. Ultimately I have always looked at ARMA 3 in the way that BI describes it. Its a constantly evolving "platform". The game released originally was just the foundation and over time more and more of the house gets built. Is this the best way to develop a game ? I have no clue as i am not a game developer. I would put my trust in BI in regards to that decision. But its definitely the way games are made now a days and i guess i have got used to it. I feel like all games are a constantly evolving and updating platform So .... yeah i agree on some of your points. And don't know the solution haha. -

Just letting you all know that Episode 4 is now released ! Thanks to everyone out there. We are now being downloaded in over 50 countries and over 40 states here in the US. In progress as we speak, should be complete in a day or two. thanks for the soundcloud idea ! Still looking into it. They have our RSS feed but haven't activated it through their search yet. Standby we are definitely on it.

Hey HeroesandvillainsOS, i actually get really irritated with iTunes podcast app as well, so bringing this to Stitcher is DEFINITELY a possibility and i will work on that this week and get our episodes on there. Thanks for the heads up FYI: there is a submission process for Stitcher, so I will definitely submit it this week if not today, however I am not sure how long it takes them to accept it. UPDATE: It has been submitted to Stitcher, so hopefully soon it is picked up.
