    Now I would like to add armor units to PLA Mod. If anybody could be in help to offer Chinese type 62 or 59 tanks, please PM me. And just wonder if there are any such tanks ever released in ARMA?
  3. It's an amazing new release! The models and textures look much better now. The rifles are really great on the textures and models, very nice! They should be the best of all mods in consideration of the art work and historical accuracy. Just one thing, I hope the bolt animations of rifles could be added soon. It's a pity there is no such animation to match these so nice rifles. And it seems the holding gesture of MP38 SMG also needs revising to put the hands in more correct place. By way, the Pak30 in the above looksso awesome! Could you add it to the mod soon? In addition, maybe more supporting weapon for German side, such as mortar and etc.?

    I don't want to argue you against your politcal point here. But PLA is a great army. I love it and I made the addon.

    I have been running the addon together with UNS & VME mods. But the annoying thing is the PLA would be in Vietnamese voice ( under east side ) or Vietnamese english ( on ind. side) whenever with UNS mod.

    PLA Weapon Type56 semi-auto rifle, derived from Soviet SKS,which was the main rifle used by PLA from 1960s to 1979. Type63 Auto Rifle: Developed by China itself from late 1950s to 1963. Then it was equipped from 1968 by PLA. It once replaced Type56 rifle in PLA and then was stopped to use from 1978 for some quality issues of production. But some of them were used again by PLA in the border conflict against Vietnam in 1979.

    US Military Mod (80s, 90s)

    I just recently downloaded and played you team's addons. I almost missed it since there has been too much released US stuff and I really was reluctant to collect anymore. But I have to say your US soldiers' pack is really amazing and on the top quality by all awesome details well done! I think it should be one of the best US soldiers' addon in ARMA2, much better than those of US troops in the original ARMA2 game.

    It will be on IND side. China was in unfriendly status with those two imperial powers during that period. So the conflicts could be against both of those in the game scenarias.
  12. Will you also make Chinese type63 assault rifle? It's a kind of auto gun derived from type 56 rifle. It seems the troops of North Vietnam got them from China as well from late of 1960s.

    Hi, Hiddenzone, nice to see you here. We once met in VME forum and talked something about making chinese troops for a Mod of Sino-Jap war in WW2. Recently, I couldn't log in there for failure of verification for some reason unkown, and just getting my screens of PLA addon posted here. Yeah, usually, only we native guys could tell what the real chinese faces should look like. Actually, these faces are from the addon of VME Mod and they are very nice to use.

    That's right Sovite frontier units were under KGB. Their uniform should be basically in the same style as those of regular infantries except the different color of headgears and green badges on their collars. I don't make winter troops for ZhenBaoDao conflicts. But I once found some photos of Soviet officers who were killed in that battle. They were just in formal M69 suits.

    Hi, SUY, actually, I'm planning to use these addons for the both of Soviet and PLA from the late of 1969 to 1981. The new M69 uniform should begin to use from late of 1969. Ni Zai VME Lun Tan Shang De Xiao Shuo Bian De Bu Cuo O, haha...

    Yeah, I would like to use Chinese voice for them. Now the addon is tested under VME&UNS mods together. But very strangely, they only are in Vietnamese voices instead of chinese. I've collected dozens of WW2 stuff from lots of Mods and addons in the past years and still play them under ARMA2 OA by combination of Invasion44, IF44, Polish War 39, CZ38 and Pacific War Mods,etc. If we could get such so many things in ARMA3, I think we have to await till closing to release of ARMA4...
  20. Agree. Actually, I have never played any DayZ game and will be no interest of it at all. I just take OFP, Arma series as the best option of a military simulation game. Personally, I don't see any reasons why people should play something like DayZ under Arma Modding. Yes, it's really sad we would lose a very good modder like Vilas for that. But this can't be decided and altered by ourselves...
  21. I have several suggestions. 1) The weapon packs look very nice in the Mod. Could you add the bolt-action animations for rifles, especially for german Kar-98? I would like to replace my some custom addons with your weapon. 2) Is it possible to add 'backpack' functions to your models or in the config? In that case, the players could add something to the soliders in the editor. For instance, I could put 'amobelt' to the body of a MG gunner by this and also could let the soldiers carry some backpacks who haven't them currently. 3) The crews now couldn't show out from hatches on III assault-gun in the 'safe' mode. Maybe could add this anmis in an update.
  22. Is there any model of german armor-vehicles ready? By way, I found there was no Y-belt as the standard equipment on the body of these german soldiers as the Mod for the earlier war stage. It seems it should appear in 1941 or 1942 as the historical truth? And in W39 Mod, it's equipped for german troops.
  23. Thanks for you two guys' efforts and contributions. It really brings us a very nice Mod with the great stuff of early stage of war. Now I can play custom scenarias of Poland war, French War and Soviet War by myself in Arma2. As for map, I don't think it's quite rush to make it perfect. There are some options of other Mods. The units and equipment may be the first priority. Anyway, you only have two persons in the team.
  24. Great news! Actually, I have played your mods with W39 mod in the editor for Poland war. Just thought to request the German version of LT35, 38. Now it's available. I even used your tanks for my missions of German-Soviet war in 1941.
  25. After further testing, I found the tanks could fire in normal and not insensitive. But the issue seems AI often fires in shorter distance and didn't reach the targets. Maybe the aiming config got some problem? The map Marenice is nice. But there are some buildings from original Arma2 maps still with TV antenna on roofs. Such morden things should be removed for historical reality. In overall, the alpha release is great. I especially like the unique texturing way of the weapon and armor you made. Would like to see more stuff, such as German armored vehicles, anti guns and etc. in the next release, of course, if still any one for arma2? As for applying the mortar, suggest to use the similar module such as 'fire observer' used by Inv 44 mod. That could make mortars fire well by AI in game and really could bring more effective supporting results and funs.
