    Legal violations by A3L: Arma 3 life

    Just want to point out that "an Arma 3 Life mod" does not necessarily mean the Arma 3 Life mod. And not all of the Life servers for Arma 3 are that bad.. the bad ones are definitely the minority.
  2. During a spout of boredom I decided to try out modelling in Arma 3. I went through Mondkalb's tutorial without a problem. However, when I made my own model (of a cannon), the textures messed up when I got it into Arma.   8. You can push H in the GUI editor to bring up a help..most of the commands are in there, as well as various pieces of help.

    @KK No, the hash is in my .rpt as well, when there is an undefined variable, or an error with a variable. @Osmo Don't you think it would be easier for people to help..if you provided the actual script? :)
  10. Hi. I am from a gaming community called Infinity^2. Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, we saw this post, and started playing around with the mission. We realised that it was incomplete..but that it could be much, much better. This was before the release of any good Life missions for Arma 3, although there are some good ones around now. We decided that we wanted to improve it, for fun. We weren't exactly Arma coding genius', but we all had scripting experience. We've been editing it for a while now, to the point that it is unrecognizable from the original mission. Therefore..from the members of Infinity^2... Features Working money system. Car, boat and helicopter shops. Cop weapon shop. Cop menu, with restrain, arrest, ticketing etc. Arresting, and a jail. Basic cop base, with protection. Basic bank/station robbery system. Hunger system. Locking and ownership system for cars.(Push L) Inventory system and dialog.(Push 2) Stunning system. Cop Sirens/Shouts.(Push F) Tuna fishing. Known Bugs JIP players spawn in the sea. 'Search Inventory' option in cop menu does nothing. 'Restrain' option in cop menu does nothing. Locality, locality, locality. Download Infinity Life 0.4(.rar)(.pbo) Development thread and changelog (There will always be the latest download here) We realize that the coding is probably not the highest quality, but we ask that if anyone does have suggestions as to how to improve the mission, either PM it to me, post it on this thread, or on our forums. We did not have a dedicated server to test this on, so we have no idea how it will run in a dedicated environment. *Note: We did send a message to Rybo a few weeks ago, but he has not answered.     Classname of all ships?

    When you place a vehicle in the editor you can see its classname on the top-right corner..just saying :)

  13. Its because it uses the setVehicleInit and processInitCommands commands..I have no idea how to fix it though, sorry.

  19. You need to unpack it into MyDocs/Arma 3 Alpha/missions. Might be MyDocs/Arma 3 Alpha Other Profiles/Profilename/missions.

  21. Also, you did pbo the mission? (Save as multiplayer mission in editor). Because I can't see how you "added the notecards namely "respawn SIDE" and the scripts for the VAS" in the MpMissions folder, as the missions in there should be packed. Edit: Nevermind, my mistake..the MpMissions folder is for missions made in the multiplayer editor.
  22. Also having the issue with hands up animation causing the unit to slide across the map, and die. It worked fine with switchmove in A2, so a bug?
