Assaultgroup.com are inactive right now, but thats because all we want is MSO (ALIVE) lol. Its all we played in A2/OA for over 2 years, with insurgency and Domi on the side. Our community will be dedicated to this new version and I'm really looking forward to it!! -
This is a really good long term mission, Me and my unit have been using it to "try" and get into A3. I edited it however though, Moved everything onto the USS nimitz and added a few mods. Other then that I really enjoyed it.. Thanks :)

Same issue. Have tried alot of different fixes, Non have worked...If you get any info let me know. Attempting to run an ARMA 3 server on an dedicated machine... Was running all fine, Did a restart and now I cant run a single server due too.. Server error: Player without identity Any fixes? any Details? Thanks -

Well Said... Every bit of it. But still ARMA 3 is going to be great. Thank god for ACE Soundmods such as JSRS and Blastcore Visuals... I would donate to them too... Infact if they all teamed up together they could make a REAL mil sim :D.. And ofc All In ARMA. What a saviour to A3 that will be! As soon as that is out BI will come out with an "DLC" to port everything into A3 :D Thanks for the engine BI, The community will finish the rest of it i guess? -
To the OP. An shot to the head, helmet or not would kill you either way tbh... Helmets arnt really deigned to take direct hits rather they are designed to protect you against shrapnel.. .falling debris or if your lucky reflect a round that hits at an angel... A 5.56 round to the chest would put pretty much put anyone on the floor too so pretty much everything to do with ballistics/weapon damage is crap, Thats what ACE or MODS are for :P

Great Idea, Can see this working for realism units... Such as.. Situation updates in text or Via map updates Orders Text messages? Video Messages? The possibilities :P Will be looking out for this one, Great work!

Amazing Work. What they have done with the vehicles imo is shockingly bad in todays standards (just look at the GTA games), engine sounds do need mods like this and i will be following this one closely. Another one is the Physics to the vehicles... I've gone offroading in games and in real life, and the offroading just feels weak.. Anyway well done!

MSO comes with MHQ's that you can deploy and use them as spawn points... -

Any idea why on Reshmaan the civilians spawn as Russian civs. And they spawn in herds inside buildings (causing massive lag)? Any help would be great. Thanks -

Posting to say that our first Joint Operation Night started today... We have a turn out of 4 other units, and a 5th joining. with over 30 players. We had a massive assault on enemy forces in the south of Reshmaan. And we havent even left the initial area of operations. (Phase one) Would like to remind anyone interested we and all groups involved are recruiting, any other units out there that want to be involved refer to the information in the OP. Great turnout great start was awesome. We'll have some footage posted ASAP. -
I'll be having the server up and public tomorrow, Im also going to be testing it with Ambient Civilians and Ambient Traffic. Ill get our guys to stress test it then ill have it on the server, I'll send a copy to DAP to use/upload or w.e no props needed just happy to play Altis Insurgency :D If you played insurgency on ARMA 2 then you would know that all grids that have a potential spawn for AI had a red grid. Then again you can disable grids in the params

To DAP. I have ported this over to Altis and it is fully working, I have also added in the Enemy occupation script into it for "grid squares" to clear. It is currently hosted on a private server, with your permission are we allowed to open this to the public?. Great mission thanks.

Devildog - Only reason why that would work is cause you need to set your self to direct input. Goto settings - options - hotkeys Bottom right you will see a drop down, use direct input and restart teamspeak. -

Hey man, Been following your work still. Great new additions, Got some suggestions, As ARMA3 has good vehicle physics and will hopefully be improving on them, Could you make some objects that you can throw together to make a vehicle obstacle course? This could give you a few ideas

Forget the breaks, although its important, the physics of the vehicle needs fixing... If i ramp of the ground it just glide in the air till i hit the ground... Where is the weight to the front ? back ? left and right of the vehicle :P BI Devs your doing a great job, But if your unsure on how vehicle physics should be play GTA IV :P I think the break sounds were taken out due to them sounding the same on all surface types (unsure though)
