  1. -In game sound utilizing sound cards (EAX) -More diverse voice overs on AI/East/West etc. -Anti Cheating program such as Punkbuster for multiplayer -A netcode for a non hitched/laggy online gameplay (like the recent 1.60 FINALLY for Arma 2... which is perfect now!!) -Optimization on launch -Skill based reward system for online play reflecting overall accuracy, team-play, assists, objectives achieved, shots fired etc. No ranking up for medals etc! (this is not COD or BF3!) -In-game 360 degree VOIP enabled servers (Admin option).... Pretty much ACRE Mod... -More dynamic weapon sounds of cracks and pops like in real life when rounds drop close to player!( JSRS Mod!) -Improve the voice-over commands to be more realistic based upon overall squad awareness. i.e under fire - Squad leader shouting - Recon - Quieter voice.... Really pumped about this game and i hope you can see my biggest disappointment from Arm2 (although of course i love it) was the netcoding... Thank god its fixed now though! Keep up the good work
  2. "to play on this server remove listed files or install additional accepted keys" another quick thread! Anyway of getting round this on servers when using JSRS mod? I`ve found it doesnt allow me to join (the yellow ones) even though its not saying it has anything to do with JSRS? It looks to me like normal game .pbo files? Would love any suggestions/experiences?

    WTF? lol, i just downloaded and installed build 84749 and its superb... i was in shock after playing the Arma series online for years!! There are still issues (which im sure have been bought to light) but the fluidity of it makes me pumped for what this game should have been straight off the bat! Who ever has worked on these builds seriously good work. I have noticed with NV on, the rounds from heli or explosions or over exposed with lighting and some projectiles look like a massive glow of strobe lighting? Not sure if sound is an issue aswell but ive experienced wierding cracking noises. I`ve tested this beta with JSRS sound mod. But overall, im stunned with online play and how smooth it is!

    Ah ok. Fantastic thanks! What have you gained from your experience of these betas...? Surely if its a real fix or has potential to be, it`ll become an open official patch?

    Sorry for being lazy and not reading it, but could anyone shed some light whether or not this is a compatible version with the majority public servers and does it actually issue or create more bugs in another area....

  8. Is it just me or is anyone else concerned with the lack of conversations revolving around the Arma series and its poor netcoding? Im not trolling as i love all Arma games and am a die hard OFP vet. What annoys me is the lack of threads created to raise this very serious issue regarding the poor netcodes within online play. After all this is a Bohemia forum and if there is anywhere to discuss issues or raise awareness for it to be worked on is here! And for anyone looking to insult my intelligence please revert to any youtube multiplayer clip. It is not the individual players we control within game that suffer from hitching or lagging, but the physics and interactions with every other player or vehicles within game. This is an ISSUE, FACT and am dreading it wont be resolved for Arma 3!
