@zulu1, you're typically good with finding files or having them on your PC. Someone on an OFP/CWA Facebook page is looking for KEGags17RES.pbo, but I can only find ags17_11.zip which only contains kegags.pbo. It would be greatly appreciated if you, or someone else here, could locate this addon. I've looked everywhere, so I thought I'd check here.

Command and Conquer: Tiberium Universe Release Thread
Revan9190 posted a topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
This is just an infantry demo for now, but this is where all releases relating to my Tiberium verse-related addons will go. This is my first addon ever and it's not impressive at all, really. Just two basic units with a simple retexturing job that's not even that great. I haven't set up groups for it yet (sorry, will in next release though). I only used Sanctuary's modding resources for the models. These two units are equipped with standard issue M16A2 assault rifles and M67 frag grenades from base Operation Flashpoint/Cold War Assault. It will work in both with no issues. No requirements other than your base game (as with how I set up the configs). If there are any issues, let me know. Big note: You'll have to plop them in one at a time since groups are not set up yet for the editor. You can find them under West and East under "GDI Infantry" and "Nod Infantry" respectfully. A readme is included in this very pathetically small release. At least it's something right? I have a full loadout list I'm going to be following as I make more diverse infantrymen of both the Global Defense Initiative (GDI, also officially known in 1995 as UNGDI, or United Nations Global Defense Initiative) as well as the Brotherhood of Nod. I will make some officers and rocketmen soon. I might make the GDI grenadier function more like the CNC Renegade version than the CNC95 unit because a lot can go wrong when only equipping them with hand grenades. I might make a fun 'classic' version of the GDI grenadier sometime down the line, though. I hope you enjoy this small release and I am glad to have people that helped me with some configs and texture advice. Seeing as though I lost my actual modding files, I'm going to be starting from scratch, which will be good in the long run I think. I just need to get more familiar with Oxygen and configs. Modding seems a bit overwhelming, especially when you're coming back to it. If there's anyone willing to team up with me, that'd be great. I'm going to attempt to have small releases here and there to keep people with the feel. I'll also make some small trailers with them. Without further ado (outdated. Fixed link at bottom): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23036637/CNCTibDawnInfantryDemo.zip Feedback greatly appreciately. I want to bring as much nostalgic 1995 feels back to everyone as possible. This is my dream mod. Fans of classic CNC rejoice! I've been incredibly busy with work, so I deeply apologize if releases come slow. Maybe people can help out here and there by suggesting what they want to see in-game next during the infantry phase? It will be glorious seeing Nod and GDI going at it in first/third person. I know there have been people here anxious to see some CNC related addons, so enjoy. Next on list: Better texturing jobs. Make groups for editor. More varieties of infantrymen to make both sides unique against each other in combat. Next release will likely be a sort of demo as well, but hopefully it'll have 'full' squads. Trying to concentrate on one aspect at a time as to not be overwhelmed. Enjoy! (to any moderators/admins: I hope I did this right. I made sure to double-check about permissions with WW4 resources, but I credited him anyways. I hope my release thread and readme have the correct format. Just want to ensure I'm not breaking forum rules) If you want to help, please contact me via PM. Thanks! A reminder of what they look like: http://i.imgur.com/S0aLA.jpg http://i.imgur.com/MHlvM.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CCMIm.jpg Mammoth tank is not mine, I just thought it appropriate to have it in the background. Goes really well with these guys. Edit 1: Fix courtesy of krzychuzokecia, will use. Fixed version: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23036637/CNC_TibDawn_Inf.zip NEW! Unfortunately due to a hard drive issue, I lost the extra infantry I made for the Red Alert and Renegade-eras, along with the extra Soviet/Allied vehicles. However, I remade the Renegade infantry and will work once again on the Red Alert infantry in the future. There was also a new release of C&C BR including a plethora of new things including, but not limited to: Stealth Tank (unfinished interior), GDI/Nod Repair Bays, Fences, Walls, SAM Site, Turret, Advanced Guard Tower, new Nod Light Tank model. You can download beta 4 here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/t45b72wrexsgr05/%40CNCBR.zip/file And the new Renegade-style infantry in this updated infantry.pbo http://www.mediafire.com/file/mnao2ca5w8g755o/revn_td_in.pbo/file Remember: One vision, one purpose! PEACE THROUGH POWER! -
This thread seems to have died. :( Well, thankfully I've made a video today so I'll post it here.

I'll try. Edit - I made a copy of the exe and named it FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE and it was able to find it. Thanks!

Can somebody upload the latest version of ECP mod as an addon folder rather than the installer? The installer won't let me navigate to my ArmA: Cold War Assault directory, as it was originally made for OFP. The mod should work for CWA 1.99, right? Talking about ECP v1.085 with its patch bringing it up to v1.085e. I would greatly appreciate this. :)

Thanks. Yeah, I had the basic pack, I just needed the Wiesel. :D
-
Anyone have the BWMod Wiesel? Can't find it anywhere. Thanks.

I'll check. :S

===================================================================== == C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\Arma Cold War Assault\coldwarassault.exe ===================================================================== Exe version: Fri Jul 05 17:35:00 2013 ErrorMessage: 'config.cpp/CfgWorlds/Intro.INTRO_WORLD': 'a' encountered instead of '=' Not sure where your a would be instead of the =. This is oddly strange as I know you would have tested and checked before uploading. With this config, it's giving me that error, not sure why. I can maybe look for it. (Well first I backed up the old config before replacing it with the new one)

http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=2570 I'd like these fires please. Unless there's another addon where I can just place down fires in the editor. :P
-
http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=8688 Can't seem to find this anywhere. I'll keep searching to see if it's on my computer, but we should have a link of it somewhere in any case, I think, in-case one were to lose it. Huh, one addon of mine that I downloaded requires dlem_ural, but this addon I linked is mnf_car, but dlem is the author still. This is odd.

http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=9738 These would be appreciated. :)

I forgot, is there a Yak-9 available somewhere? I'd like one for the Red Alert portion of my mod to reskin (or maybe Apoc, since he took over that portion entirely, pretty much), but also to be able to have fun flying one doing strafing runs. :) But I think I remember seeing one available at some point? I do know the Soviets used the Hawker Hurricane during WW2 as well (leased), but for authenticity to Red Alert, it's gotta be a Yak-9. Or anything earlier, even. Like a Yak-7B, or w/e. As long as it's a "Yak attack plane". Alternatively, I suppose I can use another model if someone would give me permission - at least until I learn to model my own.

Thanks! You know what's funny? I finally found the locations of my files, but it's good to have another link up anyways. Thanks, Zulu. :)

All the links for the Winter maps are down, such as Winter Nogojev, Winter Everon, etc etc, which I seem to not have for some reason as some missions from WW4EXT_Arctic requires them. I'll keep browsing my computer, but haven't had any luck.

Did you have an older version installed? Or is this a new installation? If there are duplicate files, that typically means you're trying to overwrite the older files. So you should make sure you don't have an older version there.

Command and Conquer: Tiberium Universe Release Thread

"For the foreseeable future? Comrade Chairman, I am the future!" Apoc has worked on this...famous individual... a lot in recent days. We now have our leader, Kane! I think he's done a great job. If I remember the conversation right, he'll probably do some fine tweaking. I think the face is pretty much final (I can certainly call it that, myself. Looks bloody brilliant!), but there will be some tweaks config-wise here and there and adding "wounds", adjusting stats, you know. So, we've been working really hard. More to come soon! -

"Reinforcements have arrived...." Before Nod became a force to be reckoned with, we had the Soviet Union under the command of Comrade Chairman Josef Stalin. And before GDI, we had the Allies.... The way I have it is that the Red Alert timeline started with the Allies' victory. The Tiberium universe was from Soviet victory. At least that was the original intention by our beloved Westwood. I just got done finishing the Grenadiers for both sides and also Machinegunners. I'll eventually make snipers and such. While a nice thought, keeping completely to the unit layout of the original games would cause some...chaotic and unfair advantages within the engine, which relies on a bit more "realistic" gameplay (no running and gunning like in CoD and Battlefield, y'all). We have some more surprises slowly coming. Both from the Red Alert timeline and the Tiberium timeline. Pictures soon. I'll release some updated .pbo's later, along with my custom revn_snds.pbo and custom WW4 config. No telling when that will be. I tend to like playing the mod with WW4, but I'll try and make it where you won't necessarily have to use it, although it's heavily recommended. And people will be free to use their own configs as they please. -

Just thought I'd post pictures of the Allied crew. @Apocalypse83 and @Macser have been helping me on a few surprises for the latest releases. Expect more updates soon. This is just a fun unit that I included in revn_ra_rinf.pbo. I'm including machinegunners, rocket soldiers, and grenadiers next, so expect that soon. I need to figure out the problems with the flamethrower, but I have people talking to me about it. The mod is far from dead. :) -
Thanks, Spad! :D

Thanks! I'll give it a look. Edit: Sure enough, I forgot to look at the CFGModels section! Thanks, Professor! :P Edit - 2: Here's some screens of them in action! As you can see, they have Light Buggy support too (I figured it was a good idea, since I had two squads full of infantry on both sides. This skirmish took place at Al Busayyah. -

I'm having this weird problem where every unit (of my new Renegade-style soldiers) has the same face (with glasses). I double and triple checked the config to make sure it was just like the other ones in terms of xicht_a.paa, and the rest of them, under the 'wounds' bit. I'm unsure as to why they all have the same face - the others don't have the same faces, so I'm really confused why this is occurring. Anyone have an idea why it's not varying the faces like it's suppose to? Otherwise they look pretty good! Managed to make an entire squad with cfg_groups (I made the positions a bit weird. Will have to figure that out, but they do spawn in correctly). -

C&C Renegade-era style Nod Uniforms/vests going rather well. Now I just need someone to edit them to have the 'gas mask' style helmets (with red-lenses). The rest of the body is looking good, though. Just give them a Cobretti AR-70...bam. Going to do GDI soon as well (as well as Military Police variants). These units I just did look pretty good, and close-ish to the source material to be passable (and I think my own take on them looks pretty nice, will get screenshots soon). I'll have to make it where the Officers have the berets, though, which I can snag from the model I used for the Nod Commando (and have him use the same textures for the body as the other ones). As far as the Tesla Coil, going to take the suggestions I got and keep working on it. :) -

Yeah, exactly the point I was trying to get at. Even in-game, in the original game, I sent two-three light tanks against a medium tank, and 2 out of 3 were destroyed, with the last one extremely damaged. I specifically remember this, not sure why. I'm definitely going to be making a demonstration video for it, and other units/vehicles. Kind of like intelligence videos.
