We’re glad to present the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Suit (EODS) this is an addon for Arma 3 that aims to improve the role of the combat engineer. This addon brings a new type of IEDs with many functions that are designed to extend the Arma 3 simulation. Working Features: English/Spanish/French translation for every feature. Functional RCIEDs (Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Device). Functional Cellphone to interact and detonate the RCIEDs. Functional Editors modules to give to the IA the ability to detonate IEDs, to set a hidden/buried IED, and the possibility to create a Daisy Chain from the editor itself. Functional UI to interact with the IEDs. The players can interact with the IEDs by many forms: arming the IEDs, burry the IEDs, defusing the IEDs and more. Talon Mark II EOD Robot with animations and ied interactions. THOR III Jammer with removable antenna. APOBS system Current Development Stage (October 27 of 2014): The Metal detector, the ABV, the Buffalo and the Husky are coming.   2. Hi Everyone I was outside of the project since December of 2014. All these months Ewok was leading the project alone. He made a really good job. I'm back now so expect some new updates and new features. Thank to all for your support. And thank you Ewok to let me return to work =)

  6. Are you using the interaction Key? Remember that you need to use a key on your keyboard to interact with objects and IEDs. Look the Manual to know how to config the Key.
  7. Yeah we're aware about those issues that you're reporting. The manual defusing problem is going to be solved as soon as possible.
  8. There is a new version of EODS. All the changes of this version are related to the Talon Mark II. A few days ago i put a picture of our artwork of the Talon Mark II. In that image the talon had a nice 3d tracks, unfortunately the Arma 3 engine dont allow the use of a 3d tracks on a vehicle based in a tank like our Talon. To solve that problem we have created a new tracks with a new texture that combine with our other texture job on the Talon.   11. The release date for MANW is here and we're proud to present our release version for this contest. I want to give a special thanks to MrEwok, without him many things that today have EODS could not have been achieved. This is not the final release of the addon, we're going to keep the development process and we hope to have many things in the future. Not every feature that we want to have for MANW can be done at this time, but im very happy with the results and the current situation of the addon. Note: One of the big changes on this version is that you need a key on the keyboard in order to interact with objects and IEDS. Just go near the object or IED and point it (aim it), then use the Key assigned to interact with it. See the main post for the changelog and the download link.
  12. We're having some weird problems when we export the animation from 3ds max to Object Builder (Oxygen). This issue put the dog away of our principal objectives for this month, but the idea is to complete our work on the K9. The animation thing is always a problem in Arma but i hope to find a solution. But anyway the idea is to have a realistic K9 unit that could find IEDs...it is going to have many functions...so that are the plans for the K9.   13. This is another thing that is in our plans. But like i said... there many things to do and we're a small team so the development is going to be slow. But you have my word that every feature asked for the community is going to be in the mod, so feel free to give us ideas. Many thanks.
  14. Hi thank you very much i really enjoy the video. The main thing with the hand diffusing is made it to be the last resource like in real life. The only situation when you would defuse an ied by hand is when you dont have the opportunity to move it to another location or detonate it in the current location is not and option. And also there are a possibility that the ied detonated even if you use the right procedure so everything is made it to recreate a real situation where your last choice could be go near to the ied. Again thank you for use the mod and in the future this is going to grow and be more useful for communities like yours. And also for the guys that are asking about pressure plate ieds and other kind of ieds, yes we have plans to recreate more than 30 ieds. Thank you guys for the support and for the feedback.
  15. Thanks for the comments guys. There are some things that we know that are not working well, we hope to fix everything. Remember: this addon is here to stay in Arma 3 for a long time so no rush. I really hope that everybody could enjoy our work especially on the Talon and Thor III, develop those features was a pain in the ***...but everything is doing with love for the community. In any case wait in this week for more WIP updates and maybe a quick fix. =D PD: Ewok is working in a real console for the Talon we want to forget the existence of that unrealistic Arma 3 UAV terminal...

  21. We have some news: With the Joining of MrEwok we advance in a way that i don't expected. We're doing all the stuff in less time and with better results. I really want to thank you MrEwok!!! We're working in the: APOBS (Script), the THOR III (Model and Script), the metal detector (script and textures), the Talon EOD robot (Config and Physx), the K9 unit (animations and exporting shit) and correcting some minor bugs of the IEDs. For now i have some pics to show you. We expect to have a new release version the next Monday. Hopefully this build will bring the APOBS, the THOR III, the Metal Detector and some new IEDs and script features. With this extraordinary incorporation we want to ensure the creation of a realistic EOD scenario in Arma 3. I want to give the thanks to MrEwok for join us.   23. It is possible but we're with all the hands doing different things of the addon. So the things that are right are not going to change at least until we have our k9 unit working in the game.
