  1. So we can't put backpacks in ammo crates... But can we put an edited backpack into a vehicle? Specifically, can you create a backpack in the editor, add items to the backpack then load it into a vehicle within the editor? Thanks in advance! Cheers, Dreadnought1

    Don't need to have more than one or two. Even just having a medic tagging along would help. You can always tell them to go stealth or just copy your stance... Cheers, Dreadnought1

    Great mission - I've only been playing it for a day or two and I've had a lot of fun. Only one issue so far: One time I took an empty civilian truck and turned a corner in a village and ran over a couple of enemy infantry. The other three or four enemy infantry there just stood or walked around and didn't open up on me while I was in the truck. Decided to try my luck so I ran over about three more. Still no response. A UAZ with a GL turned up and I rammed it into a building three times with the truck (without them firing at me in the truck) until it caught fire and then the two crew bailed out and died. Looks like they consider the truck still to be neutral and ignored the fact I was driving it. Cheers, Dreadnought1

    Improved BRDM2 units

    I downloaded the version from the Armaholic link earlier in the day and the file was "brdm2imp_mlod_v2.1.rar" which just extracted into a heap of 3d files. That might be the issue others are having too. I'll now try the one you've provided in the skydrive link. Cheers, Dreadnought1

  12. Folks, Question re different ammo types for infantry weapons: How do you swap from 12G Slugs to 12G Pellet magazines for the Saiga shotgun? I've tried 'Reload' which just reloads the same again if available and Mode Switch 'F' but neither change the load type. Cheers, Dreadnought1

    Folks, Great island! Heaps of fun, particularly with wheeled/amphib armor... Huge thanks to Icebreakr and all other contributors. A couple of small building issues (and I've tried to find any posts relating to these elsewhere in this thread but haven't found them...): - Climbing the 'posed.p3d' guard towers - I've fallen off every time I get to the top of the ladder as it won't let me into the top of the tower. - Some door issues entering the open external office door of 'army_hut_int.p3d' & 'army_hut2_int.p3d' and moving through the internal door of 'army_hut_long_int.p3d'. You can get through but sometimes need to 'step over' the door threshold or move side-to-side until you get through. Not big problems if you're just walking around but when you're in the middle of a firefight and want cover, it can be deadly. Cheers, Dreadnought1

    Improved BRDM2 units

    A brilliant bit of work there! Just loaded the mod and I'm working my way through them all. I did have some trouble trying to access the gunsight on the BRDM2 standard model or on some of the other turreted versions. Right mouse button is not letting me look through the gunsight - all I see is the internal turret view of the sight. I'm not using ACE if that's of any help. All in all the new BRDM's are very welcome additions. Huge thanks! Cheers, Dreadnought1
