  4. when i die in a respawnable mission my radios stop appearing shift ctrl x instead of acre self interact shift alt e i get a spectator menu everyone turns global as if i dont have acre at all WTF IS WRONG WITH ACRE!!!!
  5. radios still dont work, after a little while you cant open the (shift, ctrl, x) radio, and did you read the second part of my analysis?
  6. The hotfix is still a bust. I also have a seperate problem, after about 20min of bring ingame the radio accessed through shift, ctrl, x, isnt opening. Also my acre self interact men doesnt show up instead it is replaced by a spectator menu.....

  8. Ive noticed that my Ai with expert and 100 percent of thier bar on at the highest possible settings are all being taken out by a single enemy ai. Mods i use are ace 2 and whatever mods are in CoWarMod

    thats wishfull thinking, when you walk into the room the ai will run around the house trying to find a random entrance not the one you walked into, and they will take about 20 sec to engage an enemy.

    another thing i dont like is the dependency of ai, if a special forces team breaches a room the sq leader doesnt have to say 2 attack ...., 3 attack..... its an instinctual knowledge thats trained into them, and should be somewhat emulated in the ai
  11. Ive been trying ace 2 with cowarmod minus the addons you listed and ive gotten better fps, and faster script load times
  12. Im thinking about making a campaign/ mission. I wanted to know how make ai do exact actions, for imersion, such as breaching with every ai going a certain way, or something to that effect?
  13. with just ace the scripts run fine, and fps is not a problem, just script loading time, do you know by chance what addon(s) in CowarMod affect timing of scripts, becuase ill be3 prompt to remove them
  14. I use Cowarmod and ace 2, and i notice i have no lag during mission 30+ fps, but things involving scripts are always slow including missin scripts, has anyone else noticed / found a solution to this?

    did you route both the arma 2 and operation arrowhead exe(s) when you first opened the launcher? and i think you havent fully installed your arma, if steam uninstall and reinstall, same thing for other means of purchase, because CATracked2_AAV is a default bis file

    I would reccomend using arma 2 launcher, it allows you to run Combined ops and run beta as well as organize mods and much more suuport http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=8241&highlight=ARMA%2B2%2BLAUNCHER Just to put my troubleshoot back on top for priority =P

    can someone help me with this problem, i dont know if its ace specific or not, but i have a very good mid level pc that gets no lag 30+ fps in all enviroments, but during missions and campaigns even when things are running smooth, script based stuff loads slow, ace recticles, immersive dismount, mission scrpits etc

I dont know what the problem is with my arma 2 I have a phenom II x4 @ 3.9ghz. radeon 6850 @ 815/1100 8gb ddr3 @ 1600mhz and i have 0 lag i get over 30 fps at all times, but it seems script based stuff loads slow during missions and campaigns, such as (ACE) animated recticles, (SLX) dragging, (ACE) immersive dismounts, etc

    Im giving my own experiences, and mine are just as relevant as him, im saying my ai dont do this and this, hes saying if you put this code in they do. Dont troll, im talking about how enemy ai dont do this either, ive went through whole missions picking off stragling AI.

    QUAD CORE AND the fact that the ai cant be better doesnt mean they dont suck. Let me give you a metaphor, if my village is dying of ebola and there is no cure, life sucks. If my village is dying of aids now the fact that i can live with it still means it sucks, even though its better still means its terrible.

    I mean fluidly human like, not 1 ai behind a wall and the rest "wondering" around helplessly waiting for a sniper to put a clean shot on them. Anyone remember the sceen from blackhawk down when the mg starts firing and instinctively everyone runs behind a building. The Arma 2 Ai will NEVER, I MEAN NEVER do anything close to that, they will crouch look at the mg, go prone crawl around, maybe fire 2 shots back, and in the process lose most of the squad, they have an almost decent (no where near good, conmmand system), But NO!!!!!!!! instinctive human like behaviour to keep them alive. They have no idea when they're in a firefight, and to shoot anyone they see as a legitament enemy, with a priority list (squad leaders, MGs, Marksmen, etc), vs moving through a crowded village, when they should listen to the squad leader as in shoot SPECIFICALLY this ai and not the other. When you watch combat footage, and see a squad leader talking to a single subordinate during a firefight, the other men arent just sitting there getting gunned down, and walking around casually with their gun raised, they are behind cover doing things they know they should do without being specifically told. Let me be absolutely frank here, ARMA II AI ARE TERRIBLE, THEY ARE THE BEST WE HAVE IN A GAME SO FAR, BUT THEY ARE STILL TERRIBLE.

    what im taking from this so far, is ai only work on the macro level, and look cool but are not functional. 1000 vs 1000 ai will shoot follow waypoints fire, and support each other. But a squad of 5 Navy seals for example, wont show any kind of tactical knowledge, and 1 shoots from behind a wall and other squad mates run to the next cover insinctively, etc
