put -exthreads=0 in the bulldozer .exe in visitors system prefrances mine is "p:\buldozer.exe" -window -exthreads=0-buldozer -addons=p:\V3addons.txt -

Texture Rules what's allowed and what's not I have arma sample models and their textures in my p drive is it allowed to re path the textures to the model so it is textured again ? Some models see arma2 textures as well are these allowed to be used? I read in a post in another thread that said you were not allowed to do the above but I am confused as in this thread it says you can. I have seen the arma 1 hotel with its arma1 textures on fallujah did he need bi approval to use it? also the ffa terrorist coyota and pickup use arma1 textures that have been modified but have been used ? cheers if any 1 can answer I read the eula but see no ref to textures just mlods -

select model in oxygen hit e delete the texure and rv mat and it's done -
Hi all I have been working on a few terrain models for a while now and have seen a few other terrain makers doing the same I thought maybe we could cooperate on a pack so we don't go making the same type models, we might learn a bit off each other in the process pm me if interested So far I have for afghan type terrain in game hesco barriers 18 types with op tower and super sanger with ply board roofs and timber supports living quarters all hesco can be walked on or have ramps to access them at diffrent levels rest weapons on them too with ace. murder hole walls rathole walls half damaged walls rpg hole walls sheer rock faces various rocks small large tunnels and trenches cave systems irragation ditches shit ditches Buildings untextured as yet heroin sacks and scales and materials for drug manufacture ied materials for making ied factory's Also for my Belfast island I have about 200 small addons to make it more uk style area too many to list from advert boards to speed cameras many have no rvmats I need to go through them all before I release belfast and give them RV's heres 1 of the op

get some straight roads laid copy them and make them side by side then place them on the coast and run script road smooth choose how you want it then run script can be done on a slope also can be exact height set 1 meter below water line -

import sketchup model in to modo select model press shift t on model then save as a .obj and it will work -

The average window in uk is 120cm x120cm and set 1 meter off the floor. Floor to ceiling height is usual 240 cm the length of a sheet of drywall hope that helps. Doorways should be at 1 meter wide for arma as real life door frames are smaller more like 78cm x 198cm. -

Alasdair hi mate looks good mate ive been working on a viking any chance you can pm me on how to get it articulated as i have a panther 2 and trailer to go with it also landie and trailer and supacat 6x6 atmp and trailer also a m119 that can be deployed and undeployed and towed just cant work out the articulation for them gnat has told me 1 way but not getting to much luck I can hook it up but it falls off lol cheers if you can help -

Hi all I am working on my 6th and final island for arma2 its north waziristan i have had it in game at 10km x 10km and thought it was to small, so i upped it to 20 km x 20 km but hear comes my problems sat and mask are 20480 x 20480 terrain cell 10 I load the sat and mask in to visitor and load in my xyz and save it, I then open bulldozer and it converts the png to paa for sat and mask, bulldozer then opens and my textures show fine in bulldozer so i binerized it to go in game. I then get the error no textures are found for sat and mask and in game island is white , so I checked my layers folder and nothing is in there even though it converted them so i have tried a few times but still no layers a pear in the folder. I have installed visitor to another hard drive as i thought visitor was messing about, it does the same in the new installed visitor my folder structure is the same as my 5 previous islands so i am at a loss to know where these layers have gone to and why bulldozer shows them even though there not in the folder i have searched for an answer on the forums but came up with no results could i get some advice off any 1 that has had the same problem or knows the answer cheers all if you can help this is going to be a clafghan makes love to sangin type terrain terraced mountains with green zone in the lower vallys here's a youtube vid of the 10x10 that works

cheers i found the layers folder again i had tried the redo of the sat and mask but it just never appeared in the waziristan\wazir\data\layers folder strange but thank's for your help -

Hi all wanted to use these plants and trees but am not sure on set up as the prefix path is this. ca\plants2\plant But i dont know if i can use that path as will it interfere with my p drive original ca folder with the original models. please if any 1 knows -

if there was i wish i new it as I just had to move a bout a 100 roads from my island i had to rebuild -
Hi all All was going well with belfast untill sunday night when i updated the latest beta patch a reran bitools and arma2ptool to match the new beta and I went to binerize the island and got errors and it crashes, I tried all week to uninstall and do a fresh install of all tools and still the same. I am getting island in game fine but no doors will open on buildings i have all the configs in my project folders same as they were when it was working i have tried each config as well and they go though bin.pbo ok just does not see the configs to use doors I have tried cpbo which does the same except it is using my intros and music when island loads but no configs still work any help would be appreciated

Yes its ironic were in a bis forum under the thread iron front liberation 1944 \ addons and mods discussion, discussing weather or not we can make addons or not for iron front with no offical words from both parties that could resolve this pretty quickly I Imagen. lol A sticky from bis like the one for videos on youtube and making profit from it. -
