  1. They are still issued equipment but have become more of an item of barracks dress rather than part of the field uniform, but I suppose they could necessarily still be worn in the field (if we ever went to war in the right climate for them). Would be pretty cool if you get time to add other forms of dress to the pack. Also any update on that fix for the units love the look of this pack, and really want to use it, but its a major hassle to have to enter the different line for the uniforms.
  2. Think it would be pretty nice to have a joint Canadian and British operation, maybe have it called a Commonwealth Division like during the Korean war.
  3. Really nice work, small question when the ship moves does a player have to take a seat or can he keep walking about, this use to really annoy me about ARMA 2 ship mods, when you would slide off if the ship moved. :)

Just wondering whether you will have different options of how to wear the PCS, I mean almost every regiment has its own dress regulations for it some have it tucked some don't ( :( ), and a lot of soldier you see still wearing the CS95 MTP issued clothing, especially the shirt, but that tends to appear to be more when they are not in the field itself or on patrol. and just wondering whether we could see a smock and not just the PCS jacket. No matter what we get as long as its British I don't really bloody mind too much. :) really good work by the way, wish I knew how to mod and whatnot.
  5. This is an idea I’m sure many people have had since the Arma series first began, I was wondering whether there was any way in which preferably a bayonet but even a simple melee attack could be added for those moments when closing with the enemy is necessary, or the ammo has run dry, or even during a silent attack when you don’t want the enemy to know where you are. I mean countless armies deploy and use Bayonets, the British army, the Americans I believe still do, the Russians, Iranians I mean by golly even the French have bayonets for when there are not running. :) Unfortunately I’m no Modder and I know a lot of people are busy but even a bayonet as effective and simple as the one in I44 would be better than nothing. As for realism, if Bayonets are still used today I’m sure in 2035 they will still be issued and used.
  6. Yes well that's why I said after the game comes out not during Alpha or Beta, I was just curious more so whether the new Blufor was just a sort of generic NATO force or whether its would be broken down into individual armies.
  7. I was just wondering whether when the game comes out there will be a British Armed Forces pack like in ARMA 2 or whether someone was already making a addon for it? Edit: Just before someone says it I tried searching for this but could only find one link which was removed and as such could not view it.

When was Blufor ever even just American, in ARMA 2 its was a force containing any faction that was supposedly allied (such as America, Britain, Germany etc...) the same as Opfor (Russia, Takistan etc...), but as I understand it at the moment the Blufor side only contains the American Armed Forces (I want my British Soldiers :( ) and I hope if other Forces are added they show the change in equipment, weapons, uniform and don't just have a generic appearances or a unified list of equipment and weapons (I want diversity :) ) But it is only at alpha :).

Well for one, its forces the maintaining of conventional warfare which is the main point of ARMA 3, its pretty easy to build your own airfield anyway a bit of flat land maybe remove any trees in the way and a little AA and there you have it a airfield (more or less). Plus I’m sure there is an Aircraft carrier prop or something that can be added for missions. Plus in all honesty this is how war is fought quite often, one side doesn’t have an airfield or control the air, and as such it forces the side without to adjust their tactics to meet the new treat which can only be a good feature.

No its encouraging the use of Jets for the team that controls it as they can now secure airspace which since World War 2 has been the most important factor in war and shows the importance of it to the other team who too must field jets by either securing the airfield or constructing their own.

No its encouraging the importance of jets, and the need of controlling airfields/ airspace in war by forcing those who do not control it to take the airfield.

I think the scenario is quite realistic now, well more so that the original idea of almost all of mainland Europe having been taken over, and I like the fact that the sides are quite even means we can go back to conventional warfare without a focus on counter insurgency. I mean I think the idea of Iran doing all of this is debatable but plausible, but I do hope that BIstudio include other faction in the future on the NATO side, like British, German, French and maybe Italy armed forces which are probably 4 of the main European Powers who would be involved in the war; and also other factions on Irans side aswell. Just out of interest what happened to Akrotiri and Dhekelia on Cyprus, what happend to the 7,000 British soldiers stationed there?
  13. Faction Please I beseech you to add the British Army or at least even the Royal Air Force, after all we are a major NATO country and would most defiantly play a major part in any conflict of this sorts, we also have troops in Cyprus who would likely, if not on Cyprus be in the area, we also already have units there in the scenario and as such must have the capabilities to get men there. Rifles Please add the: L85A2 (SA80) In fact please add as many British Army weapons you can to the game. Thanks for reading
