  5. hm i am not certain if i got ya right here. if its not the veh explosion which causes the player, so its the players/infrantry's health itself. just heal him at some point.

    well for pvp you could have ppl play west / east vs res (friendly). in addition edit the stringtable to have it show the same text on friendly fire like it was a fine kill. vs ai this doesnt work  i tried to change it in the GUI, but didnt find it. is it hard coded - anyone knows ?

    viewdistance is not set by some server setting ! it has to be done in each map ! <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">setviewdistance 5000; its a good a idea to put this command in an init.sqs. this file is loaded by ofp by default. it possible to have each player (even unit) have different viewdistance, but thats more complicated. you need to develop a script which is executed differently to each player (unit). like <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">? player == p1 : setviewdistance x; search should turn up a lot of help too

    i think you have to use one of these gameplay replacement mods to get this change, as you have to change config values to get this afaik. (hint: wargames mod)

    thanks for the extensive guide latest WGL did have it in already, but we forgot about the interpolations part yet pretty useful for anyone else like to include it too
  14. you might need to put in a wait (like 1-2 seconds) in between.

    Marshal dont get me wrong, but you should think about your attitude sometimes. You and TNT were just a small part of the MP community, and cqb is not the only thing ofp is capable of. Instead of bashing you should try to make some constructive critism or leave. OnTopic: BIS should rather take their time, than to release again a buggy game as ofp 1.0 was ! ArmA should not make this huge mistake again !

  20. well depending on the map (unit count, scripts, island etc), 12 on 12 (just broadband ppl) is very well playable on a good server. so its depends mainly what you like to do. enlighten us a bit more
