    One question, does the sound of the Airplanes machinecannons is works as intended? For me the sound of the A10, Harrier, Su25 etc. machinecannons is very strange, just a silent "prrrrrrrt" nothing more. (In external view too; There the sound of the flying bullets and impacts is louder then the cannon itself)

    Indeed. Could even beat the MiG-15 if the textures are nice. (And they will be, considering the amazing work RHS has done with its BMD)
  5. Very nice. We need more SciFi Stuff, comparing to OFP times there are very few addons in that direction.
  6. Are you gonna release the MiG any time soone? Mine is ready, but as I said it still has the non-working flaps, and no exection seat etc.

  9. We DEFINITLY need a SA-2 SAM. Man, I did one for Operation Flaspoint, and could probably port it to ArmA 2, but I have abolsutly no idea about RVMAT etc. and so it would look ugly as hell.

    From my OFP modding times I remember to make a seat usable you just needed to insert one of thos triangle-shaped markes with the correct definition on top of it. Of course youre just cargo, but there is not much to code.
  11. Yeah but seriously, A10 is already ingame. Why make a new model? If you look at all the addons which have been released so far for ArmA 1 & 2, in all honesty, even the most graphical advanced ones (Red Hammer BMD, MiG-15) were still just "as good as" the stock BIS ones. Because of RVMAT and Co. the Operation Flashpoint times are over when the User content surpassed the stock content graphically. So horray for new scripts, but modelling a new A10?
  12. ...its the only MiG who ever shot down a modern 4th generation fighter :p Yes, logistically its a nightmare, but (modernized) MiG-25s are often seen as the only chance low-tech countrys have to defend themselves from well-equipped adversaries. Seriously, I dont care which MiG you make (well the MiG-21 is already in works twice, as is the MiG-29, and we have ported the outstanding MiG-15 model from ArmA 1), but apart from that the MiG-25 was just an example. And there is always the MiG-31.
  13. Jup from the available ones definitly the most desirable. But my favourite would have been an OPFOR plane...we have the F-14, F-15, F-16, soon F/A-18 and the F-35, but only one MiG. (The MiG-23 from the LoBo Mod) Well but at least the MiG-21 is going to be made. Shame there is no Armed Assault MiG-25, because porting is something I can do myself.

    Mando Missile ArmA for ArmA 2

    For some reason the SCUD wont work, I have the SCUD Launcher ingame, called it "scud_launcher" (and a second type "mando_scud_type" to be sure), and inserted the init line "scud_launcher setVariable ["mando_scud_type", 2];". But still, ingame I can choose the target via the menu, but after I launch the SCUD it just flys off with no hit. EDIT: Argh, I found the problem. If you leave the SCUD Launcher and get in an another Vehicle that uses the Mando Scripts while the SCUD is still inflight, it will disrupt its flight path.
  17. Sorry, there are no further addons I know about which could be ported... Maybe, since the addons in this thread are mainly aircrafts, how about some anti aircraft artillery? SAMs and ZPUs and stuff? Was there something for ArmA 1 besides the Gadfly which is already ported?

    Hm sorry but I think it doesnt make much sense to create a new model. Because seriously, the pure MODEL Bohemia gave us is excellent. What lacks are script things, like the targeting systems (which Mando is working on) etc.

There is already an ArmA II version of it :D http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=8266 Well apart from the MiG-21 which is already being made two times, there are some more addons (the Mirages for example) which produce the "Some Input after End of file" Error. I looked into it, it seems its cause is a co-dependency to a master addon, Im just trying to get it work.
  21. MiG-21 are being made by RACS and for the Lingor Island mod... The F-4 Phantom is already included by Ebel. And concerning Darkhorse comment doing it from scratch, well I think your question only relates to ArmA 1 addons that need a little config tweaking. I think there was a MiG-25 out, but Im not sure. Oh and please NO ACE dependency! Less people use this mod then you might think. If you insist on ACE I will release mine, it has no ejection seat and no working flaps, but I also managed it to work with sound, pilot and a decent speed.

    Amazing detailed. And yeah, if textures arent youre field, ask the guy who does the textures for all the ArmA-I-plane-ports, like the F-16. Maybe he can help. Or of course the Red Hammer studios...

    ArmA II Stargate Mod

    This Screenshot with the red guys is one of the most photorealistic I have ever seen in ArmA II. And that with SciFi Units! I know the the Community has turned more to the hardcore military guys who rather have realistic USMC underpants then 100 SciFi Units, but please keep up the amazing work!
