  1. Hi, I have ACE running and I did not experience any crashes. I also specifically tested it with the VC local force Guerrillas and no crashes after shooting them. I have several mods running including (but not limited to) ACE, AGM, RHS and several others.
  2. I love the map, it has a real jungle feel. Doing some Recon (Recce for you Canadians) and found some well camouflaged bunkers. I placed some objects on the ground in the editor basically right in front of me and when I previewed it I couldn't find them, lol, so much underbrush. I do have a question; are the Spider Holes usable and if so how?

Lots of content to check out, some place holders with the promise of future content, and a beautiful island. wow, much more than I expected. The US Army, USMC, VC and NVA look great. Your Alpha is more content than most other modder's full releases. thank you for releasing the Alpha.

  6. Interesting video. I'm sure you had no plans to do this but it would be cool if those wide brimmed hats the French were wearing made an appearance in the mod someday.

    TRYK's Multi-Play Uniforms

    agreed, keep this a uniform/gear pack. Lots of weapons mods out there. This mod is like the definitive uniforms/gear mod IMHO.
  8. others have put out cadpat but this is the only Canadian mod that includes in addition to units, air and ground vehicles. I am still a loyal fan eagerly await further updates. If the mod is still alive it would be great to hear from the developers, if on the other hand it is dead then close the thread so me (and other fans) don't keep hoping that there's more content on the way.

  11. wow. Will this include working interiors, will the carriers be static or movable (on the right map trying to assault a moving aircraft carrier would be interesting)? Just launching missions off the deck would make this worth downloading.

  15. So I've grown attached to this mod pack, I hope there are plans to upgrade the armour values of the vests to the 1.54 patch soon?

  18. If you mean the 7th Cav mod guys, they use some of the Unsung 2.+ mod ported I believe. They give credit to the Unsung Mod and the VTE mod. So in a way they already are collaborating, you can in part, thank the Unsung guys that you had so much fun on the 7th Cav's server :)

The thing is that I have been using AiA for months with no issues until yesterday. this is the link I used from Armaholic http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=26682 I'm pretty sure its the whole mod (all 6 hours of download). I should mention an important detail, the game and scenario launch fine after clicking okay on the error message it crashes when reloading a Saved Game in SP and say the game can't load because of deleted content (listing all the AiA PBOs). Reloading a saved game in SP has worked ever since I installed AiA. Normally if there was deleted mods the scenario wouldn't open in the editor, this only happens with saved games since I got that error message. ==================================================================================================== I think I have resolved the problem, if anyone is interested and for future reference. The problem went away once I increased the Max Mem in the Advanced settings for ARMA 3. I don't know why it came on all at once but perhaps I was hovering at max utilization and didn't realize it. Once I tweaked the mem values everything worked again. Thanks for those who offered advice, it was greatly appreciated.
  20. Okay, I deleted the old AllInArmaTerrainPack_2015_01_01-hotfix-new and downloaded a new one and put the @allinarmaterrainpack into the Addons folder. It made no difference I still got the same error; addon 'aia_takistan_config' requires addon 'aia takistan data' (yes I made the mod active in the launcher) Of course this really sucks because it renders the game unplayable since I need AiA to play custom maps. Any help would be appreciated.

Today I am suddenly getting this error message; addon 'aia_takistan_config' requires addon 'aia takistan data' or addon 'aia_roads2_config' requires addon 'aia_roads2_data' Everything loads fine after I click on OK, I can call up previously created missions in the editor or SP but when I load a saved game it tells me the game can't load because of deleted content (showing all the AiA pbo's). It is as if the mod isn't loading anymore. I suspected corruption so I reinstalled the mod, I moved it up in the Arma launcher so it is listed near the top, I uninstalled a weapons mod that I installed earlier (It should not have had any impact on this error but when you can't find the cause you retrace your steps...). I could not find anything on line that shows a solution to this. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. P.S. sorry if this is the wrong thread for this.
  22. Okay, well my apologies. It seems that when I downloaded the CUP_Weapons then unzipped it and moved it to my Addons folder the copy didn't complete and I was missing several files. Its all working the way its supposed once I recopied the files.
  23. Yes as mentioned above, I installed both the CUP_Weapons and the CUP_Units.
  24. Hi, I'm a big fan of the Unsung Mod, and like many others, I am eagerly awaiting the release for A3 and really looking forward to the Alpha release you mentioned. With respect to the Unsung 2.6 maps being available in A3 with the AiA mod, can you tell me how I would make that happen? Which PBO's do I need in my A3 Addons to see and use the Unsung maps? (or do I put the whole Unsung mod in the Addons and stay away from any units in the editor?). thank you.
  25. I installed the Weapons and Unit packs and I get two errors; During game load.... Addon 'CUP_Creature_People_Military_DummyInfantrySet' requires addon 'CUP_Weapons_WeaponsCore' During Preview Load with USMC Units on the map... no entry '.model'. Any ideas what the problem is? Also, may I suggest; I have other mods that include USMC addons and they distinguish themselves apart in the editor with a prefix such as [ARC] USMC and [E3] USMC, might I suggest [CUP] USMC or something that identifies your mod from others in the editor? Just an idea. thanks
