  1. Hi, I get some trouble with ArmA 2 OA backpacks script commands. I am not using any addon. I am running 1.60 patch. Tried this in the editor: this addBackpack "TK_Assault_Pack_EP1"; (unitBackpack this) addMagazineCargo ["30Rnd_556x45_Stanag",6]; No result, my unit does not have backpack in his loadout. :confused: Thanks :)

    ok - tried with OA units => works - tried with ArmA 2 units => fails - tried with some addon units => sometimes works, sometimes fails Hopefully we have ACE :rolleyes:

    yeah I know about ACE backpacks, works like a charm :) Thing is that I was trying to add support for OA backpacks into LEA for those who don't use ACE mod (see my signature).

    It displays absolutely nothing, even no script error :/ So what about unit addons? I imagine that unit with config based on ArmA 2 units would fail too?

    Thanks for your reply :) Indeed it is a ArmA 2 unit not OA. So is there a way to check through scripting if a given unit can carry backpack?

  9. Java and C# programs use garbage collector of their virtual machine which made development ton of easier and safer compare to C++ (memory access violation, buffer overflow etc). Moreover C++ has few security aspects compare Java. What about for a given addon running malicious code while you are playing ArmA 3 :D:rolleyes:

Indeed current version of @LEA addon does not support the possibility of respawing whatever the kind of multiplayer mission is being played (Domi etc) I will add support for respawn in next version of @LEA. ;) Incoming content of LEA 1.1 -Add server key and besign -Adding new features of ACE 1.13 -Support of all ASR configs for RH packs and ACE -Support of Operation FrenchPoint (aka OFrP) -Support of ArmA 2 vanilla backpacks
  12. Very weird bug. Never experienced that. Do you use a theme modification for W7? You should uninstall your Java (JVM) and install a new one => http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre-7u2-download-1377135.html

  15. Hello Maruk, Could you please give a response to these questions. 1. Does the JVM use by ArmA 3 will be a copy embedded into the game or would it be possible to use one's system JVM ? 2. Do you intend to deliver the Java API as libraries? If so would it be possible to develop programs that use these libraries without running the game? 3. Does the Java process/threads in ArmA 3 will have restrictions like system files or Socket access limitations? What about remote control possibilities of the JVM? Thanks again for supporting Java into ArmA 3.

  18. Very good news coming from BIS with support of the Java language into ArmA 3. I can promise you a full integration of LEA within,ArmA 3 with even advanced possibilities. For example a full auto-detection of addon like the game does ^^
  19. Excellent! Thank you so much BIS! I wish we can get a full Java API to access to ArmA 3 game engine so that we can develop plugin for the game. Modding for the game would just be OUTSTANDING :butbut: Just though of a VTS like mission with all the power and possibilities of Java language and support for C++ that JVM provide through Java Native Interface (JNI) or Runtime execution of binaries. Speaking to me I can promise a full integration of LEA (http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=128696) into ArmA 3 with even much advanced possibilities :bounce3:
  20. Please be very precise when reporting a bug. Which weapon in RH MGS has a problem? What is its classname ? Also take note that LEA does not support RH packs for ArmA 2 vanilla but RH packs for ArmA 2 OA/CO.

  23. Thanks. I tried your mission with ACE 1.12 Stable, no problem at all ^^ What do you mean by "LMB" ? Once you come into the mission, push F or shift+1 to select first weapon.
  24. I suppose it is ACE 1.13 Dev what you show. LEA support ACE 1.12 Stable release and won't support ACE 1.13 until stable release comes out.
