How do I use the command line? Or is this in the config somewhere?

Okay I'm getting this weird issue where every second the game freezes for a slight second and then runs normally for a second then freezes again ad infinitum to the point where the game is encredibly jerky.

caanot load texture ca\structures\data\roof\roof_ethernit_smdi.paa this pops up when loading AO and when trying to join a server in MP, game is patched to 1.5something.

My cpu is on default.

So far ive only tried normal arma2 not AO yet, other servers give either the same problem or im auto kicked.

I saw only 2 decently populated servers, one had like 30 people and I got kicked on joining or game session lost, the second server gives me a message saying "downloading mission file" but 0kb/0kb and doesnt work :( How do I join a server or is every server modded or something?

I'm getting little annoyances, I cant seem to "download mission file" in mp.

Okay, I finally got into the game, aaaaaand problems: 1. The mouse control is nearly unplayably jerky for me, basically when I move it the mouse always moves too far past where I want it to stop, thus is almost impossible for me to smoothely aim. Essentially no matter what I set the controls to I cant smoothely aim. 2. The firing range course is bugged, if I fail it once it just keeps on infinitly repeating that I didnt get the targets on time and keeps on asking if I want to try again and keeps on repeating yes. 3. For some reason now after relaunching the game when I'm moving or looking around I got like 2 seconds of smooth moving and then FREEZE and then smooth moving again.

Maybe they share a distributor? Either way I didn't use the steam client, I used the gamersgate client, I know of noway to get it from steam without buying it a second time. So errors aside I finally got OA installed, just need to test it now.

I bought it with Gamersgate I cant download it from Steam. Theyre two completely different stores.

same error with 1.04 ---------- Post added at 12:08 AM ---------- Previous post was Yesterday at 11:21 PM ---------- Reinstalled, repatched with 1.04, some different errors thought this time it seems to actually be willing to complete. As for whether the game will work, dunno.

I already just tried that version from t5hat link and it still gives that problem. ---------- Post added at 04:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:20 PM ---------- Reinstalled the game, tried patching under administrator mode and turned off 'read only' under properties, it kinda helped but i still got numerous errors.

I wanted to be on the safe side. And yeah, different mirror same problem, refuses to patch.

This happens with every file in the addons folder..... Gamersgate version 1.02, also tried a DVD version still doesn't work, as well as different mirrors for the patch. Any suggestions?
