Is there any possibility of putting night sights on most (if not all) of these pistols? Their current sights vanish against a dark background.

I had this issue, too, until I stopped using the Backpack intended for Medics. It comes pre-loaded with those items, so every time you load that slot it gives you want you added PLUS what the backpack has assigned. For example; the BLUFOR Combat Lifesaver has an Assault Pack (Green) that is pre-loaded with 1 Medkit and 10 IFAK's, but there's another Assault Pack (Green) that isn't pre-loaded with anything. In my experience, the Remove All button doesn't work for individual items all the time (if at all), but it will work for a stack of items like magazines or frags. -
The center bolts on the receiver end (side facing the player) of the DD rail on both the left and right side are doubled-up and overlapping. If you look close you can see that the extra one is slightly offset from the other, but they're basically in the same position.

lol That is definitely not an issue I would have ever figured out. Thank you much! Edit: Tested thoroughly. Works brilliantly! Thanks again. -

My vars.Arma3Profile. I know for a fact that Slot 1 gives me issues. Others do, too, but I don't remember which ones. I'm running the DEV build. -

Did you call the information in your Description.ext and place the folder in the correct spot? I know, silly questions, but start at the basics and work your way to complicated. -

I promise I have not modified VAS at all. I'll keep working on this and see what I can come up with. Maybe I can find out why it's doing this, at least, if I can't find the solution itself. -

I recently began having the issue posted by TheWizard97 (post #297 of this thread). Newly created loadouts do not load with map, compass, gps, watch, radio, nvg's, and a variety of other things such as magazines and suppressors that were intentionally moved to either uniform, vest, or backpack. The SAVE and LOAD previews show all items accounted for, but actually loading the loadout gives me a random number of mags and no MISC equipment except a Medkit. Does this make sense as far as description goes? I could try to re-word it if necessary. -
Ardy, I remember you saying BIS isn't utilizing their attachment system as well as they could (which I agree with), and that you'd like to get the top-mounted PEQ box and a side-mounted flashlight at the same time. As a workaround, would it be possible to make a single attachment comprised of both objects while only having one active? Two could then be made (one for laser, one for light) and swapped out for differing affect, if the theory holds. The rifle could take on the appearance of both attachments though the current swap system will remain unchanged.

I haven't been this excited since the last time I was this excited!

Is UPSMON known to have issues functioning with the AllinArma mod? I'm making a mission on Zargabad using A3 units/vehicles and empty/locked A2 vehicles as objectives. I am using UPSMON Version 5.1.0 Beta 1. Markers have been placed and group leader inits contain a direct copy/paste from UPSMON.sqf with minor adjustments (such as "nomove" or "random") to fit their intention. All groups stand at their initial placement points and do not move. I'm not receiving any error on screen when I preview the mission, so it seems to know where the scripts are located. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: Sorry for this post. I've gone back through this thread a little more thoroughly and found the solution. I forgot to add "call compile preprocessFileLineNumbers "scripts\Init_UPSMON.sqf";" in my init.sqf. I'm leaving the original post as-is for reference.

I do it, too. However, I love the appearance exactly as it is. Good job on those textures, Sabre.

I admit - angels may have sung a little in my head the first time I loaded my gear and attachments, magazines, etc were all in place. Thank you, good sir. -

VAS is functioning perfectly for me in Beta. With Tonic's permission, I'll post my fn_handleItem.sqf for you. It is just a straight copy of what Tonic has posted previously. -

I believe they are found within the folder for whichever profile was used to create the loadout. They're contained in a file called, "yourprofilename.vars.Arma3Profile" Try again by updating a fresh install of the scripts. I can't imagine what would have gone wrong except something was misplaced or misspelled. -

Open config.sqf inside the VAS folder for your mission and change vas_customslots from 9 to 19. -

Development build just updated to Beta, and it's working for me. Granted, I've made the corrections Tonic posted. The development changelog also shows a new command for pistol items. Could this mean I may be able to save my X300 to my 1911 directly without having to attach it after every respawn? *fingers crossed* -
Notes and Observations. Some of these are repeats of previous posts: -Suppressor doesn't cast a shadow. -I think recoil is fairly accurate. Most of my experiences are with an M16A2 and a handful of civilian AR-15's, but I can't see the real-world MK18 being too far off from either. Weapon sway is irritating, but I think that's A3 and not your addon. -Reload animation is wonky. I think the version you sent me previously (0.6, maybe?) did better. I stopped using it after the sounds broke so it could just be my memory playing tricks on me. -Model always has a mag even when unloaded. I have a Magpul MBUS rear sight. I could send you pictures of the smaller diameter aperature in the up and down positions and from various angles for modelling reference if you like. I think it would be neat to have it folded up when the sight is down for optic use, and down when the MBUS is used. Any other issues that may be slipping my mind at the moment are probably not worth mentioning since Beta is almost here. Everything discussed so far may be irrelevant come the 25th, anyway, so none of this may be worth messing with until then. Regardless - excellent work, Ardy. I hope you never lose the love.

Thanks! I do use Notepad++, but I'd never really explored its functions. -

Beerkan, how did you run a search and replace on all files in your directory? That bit of knowledge would really cut down on trying to find each and every instance. -
Wonderful work. This addon has a permanent place in my load order.
