thanks for this update. as i finally found out,its ACE who's crashing the game when its nighttime,i put big hope in this update. its so annoying when you cant play the best game ever in the dark or when the sun goes up/down. thats the only issue i have and it has such a big impact to the gameplay.

I play it sometimes in 3D. Via my samsung tv (inbuild 2d->3d converter). When flying a heli or a jet its kinda awesome !

ok. i deinstalled SIX,deleted three last entries in the registry and reinstalled it with the current version 0.151 all seems back fine now,but now i have an other issue. when i try to update via browser click it skip the ACE,ACEX,ACEX_PLA and ACEX_SM,doesnt matter if i trigger the autoskip or not. it always bring me this up here. i downloaded all required packs from here http://ace.dev-heaven.net/wagn/ACE_1_1 but it just skip the folders for an update. am i blind? or do i something wrong ? autoskip is off ! :butbut:

hmmm. it doesnt work. i deleted the production.sqlite3 folder,but now the commandline box is closing after a short time of doin something. cant tell you what,because the window close too fast. but as a matter of fact,now works nothing. and i didnt copied the folder before. ^^ :-( any ideas sickboy ?

i have a serious problem. where is my red browser site when starting SIX gui ? i can do what i want,i always get this here ! ^^

you should read all those lots of topics about the CTD problem when arma 2 is still running on the taskbaryou were talking about,instead of starting another new one,in hope someone will give you the one answer you waiting for, to get rid of all your arma2 probs.

same questions and same answers over and over again for weeks. disable this,tweak that.whats your card,whats your settings. its quite easy.what we simply need is a new PATCH. we all know 1.05 was a big fail,for alot of people. so really dont understand whats the problem is to bring out even a new beta instead of let people trashing every thread with the same crap again. WE ARE GOING IN CIRCLE HERE.THIS SUCKS!

keep in mind what LEOPOLDOS signature tells you. If i am having issues first thing i do is put everything back to stock, please keep that in mind if/when helping me troubleshoot an issue. iam missing that attitude in your last about 50 comments. :j: as i supposed,like some others. the game runs fine,and then the red light on the frontpanel of my comp begins to light intensely....and bang,CTD. also leopoldo is damn right.the zoom function troubles me too sometimes. it looks like it has to load to much memory....and to quickly.

as i said before in an other thread,i get those CTD's only when its getting dark on the maps. its like from 6.00pm to 8.00am. and only then.when i choose any daytime in the parameters,the game runs like a charme. well,now iam interested in your crashes. do you guys have them randomly ? do you have them like me,only when its nightime on the maps ? its interesting for me to know if iam alone with this special nightime issue ! update : for the first time ever i installed a beta driver. i installed nvidias 196.34 win7 64bit international beta. the point is now,i still get the CTD's,but it switch me back after 10-20 seconds !!!! its still unplayable,because it takes about 20 seconds to switch me back to the game automatically,but it does. can anyone confirm this on his machine ?

well,at first i must say, i never said i had STEAM running.so no xdelta errors on me.but yes i tried to install the patch twice.nothing happend. but the most weird thing is : since i installed ISLA DUALA 1.3 it was possible for me to play on dark maps up to 30-45 minutes ! :dancehead:

well,i did it exactly the way you told us,but for me it didnt work. but it has 100% something to do with the 1.05 patch because,as i said before,my game always crashes when its dark. it doesnt crash when i let it unpatched at v1.00 !! after installing 1.05 the same crap goes on and on. i also tried the new beta patch,but the game still CTD when its getting dark on the maps.

@leopoldo i updated from 1.04 to 1.05

setting it to High doesnt changed anything,as i supposed. but...a third time : it doesnt like the nighttime anymore. same maps at daytime works.i change the daytime to latenight and it CTD immediately (within 30 sec.) . my opinion : its a tiny little error somewhere inside of 1.05 (to clearly come back to the topic title 1.4 to 1.5 = Desktop crash)

all setting are on HIGH AA is on 7 res. is 1920 x 1200 graficmemory set to default after reading some tip-offs(was on very high before) sight 4000 m blur effects disabled ..but like i said before : it doesnt like the nighttime anymore since 1.05 ! thats what i clearly figured out here on my machine.doesnt matter what specs i use. and doesnt matter if i disable PhysX or similar tweaks. @SWAT_BigBear sry,but not a single part of his post is showing me the info that he cured his problem.

@bulldog sry but this has nothing to do with the real problem in here ! if you install a new motherboard you have to install a fresh windows for sure. and surly noone really cares about your "i-install-a-new-windows" routine. and all your tip-offs like updating drivers or how to install a fresh arma2 is like redundant because we all know how to install a game or drivers. ^^ and WE wont install a fresh new windows,when the real issue is somewhere in the new update of 1.05. so,dont misunderstand me,this is no offense against you. WE JUST WANT REAL HELP IN HERE ! ;-)

i have the same issue,since i updated from 1.04 to 1.05. never had it before, but now it turns me into a nightmare. but i found something nice out : i defenitaly can say it doesnt like the nighttime anymore !!! i tried different maps but i got the same prob every time.but then it came to my mind. i permanently tried to start a game in nighttime,to use NVG. an other example : i start the game and the screen with the mainoptions pops up,where you see the Khe Sanh. you guys know the daytime in this scene is changing every time ,but when its dark,the game immediately crash to my desktop(but still running in backround,with no chance to reswitch). it still CTD in daytime too,but its randomly and it happens after hours,if its happen. well,something is very fishy here since 1.05 ! :-( oh yeah,before i forget...my specs : AMD PHENOM64 9750 quad 2.40 ghz 4 GB RAM Corsair 1066 NVIDIA G285 GTX (2GB RAM) Windows 7 64b
