    What would a GR campaign be without a mission by the docks?
  3. Can someone please assist. For mission replayability, I would like to be able to trigger either a random or on map click at the briefing screen of a mission so all players spawn there together. Thanks in advance.

    Just decided that this campaign will consist of 9 missions. The 8th mission which I started on, will now become the 9th - it's a great finale. The new 8th is another shout out to Original Ghost Recon - the setting is perfect - although the storyline definitely ties in closely to this campaign as you will find out. :) So last 2 missions in progress and then my work is done.

    I've decided to replace the Raven drone with the Darter. The Raven had keys which competed with TFAR so best to temove it.

    I have just figured out Mission 8, this will be a hail to the Embassy mission from Original Ghost Recon. I think you're going to love it!

    Hi mate, glad ur enjoying it. In relation to playing SP, you have to run it in the MP browser. you lose the ability to switch players but the medic system will work correctly. Re: Mission 3, I will check it but proximity trigger should fire - you don't need to destroy contraband. In relation to laying charges - I will have to add a note - you will have to use AT rounds to blow the boats up.

    I got ACE 3 from Steam. But i agree it is a divider so not forcing it.

    no ACE then :) i resolved the issue which prompted me to ask, that is that if you run ACE then you can't defuse bombs unless you have ACE defusal kit, and I don't think you can set charges either. so i will add a couple of ACE things to backpack that will only be used if player uses ACE.

    Finally........mission 7 is released! Hope it was worth the wait. I am now going to work on the last mission in this campaign so have to make it special.

    thanx for the advice tourist, unfortunately, it's actually the location, similar to problems crossing certain bridges - these guys are getting all caught up in this area. (don't want to say where becoz it will spoil the surprise. but anyway, I'm gradually working through their path finding issues so i can work out where to place 'stuff'. and thanx for your kind words :)

    Seriously mate, you claim that Arma lacks 'a lot of realism' because it doesn't destroy the vehicles the way you would like? Then you pull out a World of Tanks video as something you'd like? Let's think about all of the things the Arma devs have to develop....everything.............................. and then think about what the WoT devs have to develop....tanks.

    I'm so fkn disappointed with the AI path finding - I have been working on this mission in a spectacular location. If you did coop with 8 ppl you could load up the opfor and have a great time. But if you leave it up to the AI, then the Ghosts become absolutely fkn useless - I lose an entire squad every time because they are incapable of navigating. Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark!

    Mission 7 is in prod, this mission is a shout out to a classic Desert Siege mission. Should be a blast!!!
  19. So I decided to change a unit through the mission file not the editor (don't ask why) so I copy-pasted unit name over the one i was replacing. And now the mission is broken - fkn awesome.

    lucky save - I had uploaded a version to my steam workshop so I unpboed that copy and used the mission file.

  22. I had custom sounds in my mission files prior to Eden update which I could select from the Triggers. Now they have disappeared from the list of available sounds? So how should I call custom sounds now?
