Not working... I get 'Include file userconfig\ace\ace_clientside_config.hpp not found error... I did the install with that six updater, and just let it run just like the flash video. then I enabled the ACE, ACEX, and CBA mods from the ARMA II Launcher I did however get this error just before the CMD window started downloading bunch of stuff... it said this for @ACE, @ACEX (I put this in the arma folder before download?) should I delete the folders and try again?

ahhh ok, six updater... I'm downloading that right now... however it's at a crawling speed of 12kb!!! :(

Guys... I'm trying to download CBA, but I can't find this thing anywhere! the link on the main post takes me to some link where there is no download... is this thign installed the same way as any other mod? (using arma 2 launcher)

I was about to get a 4000 series ATI gfx card, but then I realized a ton of people are having problems with the game.... should I get a 4000 or 5000 series? I've been gone from cont US for a while, so I'm behind on the times, but apparently ATI is the superior choice now compared to Nvidia... Right now I have a 8800GTS 320mb so anything will be an improvement, but I'd like to stick with ATI this time... I also kind of wanted the 5000 series because of DX11. I think DX11 will be a winner due to tesselation alone sooo yeah :)

Hello everyone I just downloaded ARMA II from steam... I must say its an awesome 'sim' (Coming from a 11B) However, I can't get the mods to show in the launcher! I have the 1.49 version... what I did was, I made folders in Addons and named them whatever the mods are (like VopSound_2.1) and then put all the stuff in there... No matter what I do, they will not show in the addon box... so I manually put all the stuff in the addon folder (just the files directly) and they work, but not like the way I wanted to with the mod manager in the launcher.... any help? thanks! ---------- Post added at 08:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:00 PM ---------- ok apparently trick was to put a '@' infront of the folders and just throw them in ARMA II folder, not Addons... now they are in the addon/mod box, but I enabled one (US ARMY) and it didn't work... any ideas?

JESUS!!! 400M zero for the CCOs? just FYI, currently the Army is using 200 meter zero... thats what I zero'd and qualified with, so if you can change that from 400 to 200, it'd be more realistic... not sure what USMC does though, altough I dbout its 400 as we don't really shoot that far out often

like others said.. I was somewhat joking but serious... my E4400 runs at 3.0ghz (from 1.8 I think) so it's where its at... looks like it is how it is until we all get some high end i7 or something

great discussion here guys... I ended up just getting a 4890. few reasons I'm leaving for a bit (Ft Benning, for training) and wanted to get something asap since if I order it online, it'll come days before I leave. 4890 beats 5770, and right now there are no DX11 games that I'm looking forward to anyways... I looked at the nvidia stuff, but decided to jump ship to ATI. maybe next years when I'm back from Iraq, Fermi will be out

I don't see the plane? I can't see a US Air Force faction either... I just see USMC, US Army and CDF :( it's checked in my arma launcher and properly put into folders scratch that... I forgot to put the files in the addon's folder lol

ahhh... I searched around and the only one that helped me ot was the problem with 4000 series... I'll be getting a 5770 though, not 58xx those are too much $$$ :)
