    64-bit Executables Feedback

Yea I tried 3 now, I'll try one more since ihave it and it's newer, thanks for the SWAG though it was worth a shot ;)

    64-bit Executables Feedback

I don't see anything definitive that says 32bit, x86, 64bit, or amd64... This doesn't happen in any other 64 bit applications/games... and I think, but am uncertain, that if the driver works in 64bit windows it's a 64bit driver

    64-bit Executables Feedback

Good question, I tried to look for that, but couldn't find it out... I tried 2 different mice, and the same effect... know anyway to find out which the driver's using?

    64-bit Executables Feedback

I got a weird issue... Arma 32bit works normally; however, if I launch 64bit, I get extreme mouse lag. if I move my mouse in circles, the FPS drops as low as 15FPS (from a constant 63FPS). When playing a single player campaign if I move the mouse erratically for 2-3 seconds, the character continues to move for 1-2 after I stop moving the mouse. I played with mouse smoothing and acceleration and vsync (normally I have them all completely off) nothing fixes it save reloading in 32 bit mode... Pity cause otherwise the game is running fantastically in 64bit

    Start ArmA with Battleye

Sweet that works, well with a little change wmic process where name="arma3.exe" CALL setpriority "128" Where setpriority uses these option: idle: 64 below normal: 16384 normal: 32 above normal: 32768 high priority: 128 real time: 256
  6. My final goal is starting arma with "HIGH" CPU priority This used to work before more recent changes with the Launcher and new Battleye: start "ArmA3" /HIGH /D "M:\Arma 3" "M:\Arma 3\arma3.exe" -nolauncher -mod=@CavPack;@CUP_Terrains -nologs -exthreads=7 -enableHT -maxMem=4095 -noPause -noSplash -world=empty -malloc=tbb4malloc_bi Now, the above starts arma3 properly as High Priority, but I need to restart to start for battleye and after arma relaunches as Normal Priority Now I've figured out 2 ways to start Arma with BattlEye: "..\Arma 3\arma3battleye.exe" 2 1" "..\Arma 3\arma3launcher.exe" -useBE However, with the above 2 methods start the "BattlEye" and "Arma Launcher" programs respectively in high CPU priorty, then arma3 gets launched as normal priority... Is there a method/parameter via the arma3.exe to start with battleye on?
  7. Ghost-TF, YUP that sums it up PERFECTLY!!! ROFLOL
  8. You know Lying about brining ACE to ArmA3 is punishable by death... OMG I was so depressed at AGM and CSE "stopping dev" now there is hope again, you can't do this to old people like me.

It WAS ACE mod... what ever it was, it isn't anymore...

X39 I love you're comments and your mod, you took the words out of my mouth... Modding for money is the wrong attitude, since you can't really do that with arma in the first place... That soo many people love your mod should be the only motivation... I hope I never see a post like this with XMS2... I'm giving her my all to get it back in the 7Cav LOL if this is all trolling/April Fools stuff

    Arma 2 on Windows 8

Yoma I am on it for you (thank you for addon Tools, you've saved me soo much headache). I'll have to download it again, will take some time... For now make sure "Run as Admin" is checked, i.e a checkmark in a box, for all EXE's in %AppData%\... ...Some times, in a hurry I can miss the step or simply forget... To Dwarden, and the ArmA2 Devs, why is this an issue, you fellas have a Great track record for stuff like this... I handed you the workaround before Win8 release, please feel free to use it ;) no charge :P

    Arma 2 on Windows 8

I feel your pain, back in may-june-ish I was banging my head trying to get the DLC's working... I'm having weird problems with my SATA DVD Drive and old disks as well... Yea I definitely try not to use Steam for heavy modded games... Try Sproket / Store.bistudio.com they've always worked for me. Never been a problem and are just like a compressed exe which installs like a DVD. I was hoping devs/publishers would honour dead DVD's with a digital d/l in lieu of than a replacement disk. Good luck and good to hear you got it somewhat working thus far. PS the ArmA2 1.11 may be available as a separate download.

    Arma 2 on Windows 8

(Keep in mind I am still running Win 8 64bit Release Preview) This is the "Smart Screen" I was talking about: Click on More info and you should get a "run anyways" button. Definately Make sure you "run as administrator" as ArmA2 and OA write files to the "c:\user\..." folder and will need privileges... (most Win8 problems are fixed with this) After re-reading "Herbal Influence's" post I realize you installed ArmA2 but it won't run I read it differently before oops, however, the error you mention sounds more like the .exe files are corrupt or didn't copy right, but that's a guess... from ArmA experiences of yore...

    Arma 2 on Windows 8

I know the screen you are seeing, look around there is a hyperlink in the text, then you'll get "Run anyways" click that and it should work fine.
