cant import my runways

the only way i can think off is to write down all location's off the specivic runway part's and build it from scratch....again wich will take a long time since my airbase has 2 2.5km runways and another airstrip...great. -

for using the roads re-install the bi_toolsdrive it will give u your proper roads back while all pmc_objects stay useable if u download all latest tools for converting the pmc addons it will make a seperate folder where it stores your useable roads so u can paste them back in to ca folder later it even makes a folder with all the config.cpp's -

[EDIT} right now ive got 7 surface types in my terrain and working (no black spots where a surface is missing) 1 asphalt no clutter 2 polopoust + clutter 3 trava + clutter 4 hlina + clutter 5 plevel + clutter 6 pole +clutter 7 skala no clutter so i believe u could use allot as long as u have 4 per cell ?? wich in my case would be 42x42 cells terrain size 2048 cellsize 10 results in 20480x20480.. tested in the editor and ingame, works perfectly fine here. -

looks very nice indeed i can see this to become a very nice map. :) about the roads, im having the same problems with roads and placed them all by hand have to do a shit load more. just place them untill u get bored and go on with the buildings and scenery. -

well im building a new island and very often when i fly low and i want to give the enemy tanks and motorized infantry some good news they are quite capable of shooting me right out of my cockpit over and over. than again, when im lying in the fields with a M107 they have a hard time hitting me but eventualy they do hit me. -

also the cutscene from EW is behaving very strange its like the ah64 wants to be at three places at once, no crashes. but.. somtimes the bmp's somehow dont show up on radar, my co-pilot wont fire and ruins the mission cause the bmp totally own's my chopper. i played at hard and veteran happens in both difficulty settings. -

ive got an issue with scopes. when its almost dark and im aiming, sometimes my screen gets realy dark. at first i tought i was aiming at the ground but i didnt. when i move my scope a bit it disapeares again. -

ok ive deleted those files and except the hydra sound end is a little off somehow, it doesnt crash anymore -

he made me read it twice and i still didnt understand wat he means... yeah over here we use choppers to cross the map. im trying to make it suitable for all types of combat, now im thinking of it it would be hard to cross the river on wheels or by foot in pvp battles its not cause of the bridges u ll cross the river with a truck without drowning its pretty shallow but the terrain.. u have a great view of whats comming at u. its actualy a great sniper map. got a second airstrip in now + a few villages asfaltroads are pretty much done but have to do loads of dirt roads, industrial area's and many many more scenery bevore i get to a beta stage. but it starts to live now -

it crashed for me to ive tried several times and every single time it crashed so dont know why this happened but it might have had somthing to do with the 'oa2a2bridge_c_pvpscene ive got numerous conflicts caused by that file now updated to 1.33 and deleted that pbo file it works like a charm crash log in -

i used the beta yesterday in a singleplayer mission. the performance was reduced compared to vanilla Arma 2 OA note this was on a user made map (isla duala). at the point where i needed to report in, the animation of the officer talking to me was slowing down and started to stutter. after he was done talking and the next mission should start my game freezed. i could only get out of the game pressing the ctrl/alt/del, got a messege arma 2 oa stopped responding. -

sounds like a great addon. could be realy nice in some game modes to first transport the load bevore u can build factory's and makes u protect your convoy in order to succesfully build your fob while the enemy wants to destroy your convoy and prevent u from building your fob this would realy enhance teamplay -
i might use it on my smaller "mosul" area. im thinking of making a island out of the terrain to get rid of the weird looking borders. ive got one huge airbase, 2 extra long runways 7 hangars for fighter jets big parking spot for B52's and C130 + logistics facility's. and i dont want to build a second one.. so i figured a nice looking nimitz class aircraft carrier might do the job just fine :) but i first have to carve out the edges and make that look good i took a brake for a few weeks and now im at a stage that i like the ground colors and satalite image quality to finaly move on to the next stages

ive got my runway in as a road but my problem is, they are lined up in the editor the terrain is flat but i have gaps between the road sections all over. and the rpt file says something like: Performance warning: Search for 19: runway_main_ep1.p3d was very large (1080 m) i could place the runway like objects but the problem is still there. -

if u want a satalite image high detailed i suggest to use UNIVERSAL MAPS DOWNLOADER. u can insert the coords of your map location and it downloads the complete map for u in small parts. when u are done downloading u simply press the combine button and there u have your satalite map. u can make it as big as your computer can handle only keep in mind that visitor wont import a hightmap bigger than 20480x20480 pixels, and photoshop cant handle .bmp files bigger than 2gigs. believe me the size could well exceed 2gigs (mine was 5gigs)so u will need a image converter to convert it to .png. only u would have to register the application to get decent zoom levels there are some keys wandering on the net but i suggest just buy the app http://www.softonpc.com/umd/
