I read in that thread that the mod requires ArmA II CO means both ArmA II Vanilla and OA but in Armaholic site, JSRS sound mod only requires ArmA II (without any indication of OA or Combined Operation). Im kinda confused which one is correct.

I have ArmA II only, can I use JSRS sound mod ?

yes it is :( I set my terrain detail on normal and it looks like a paper painted with trees and environment colours. But if I set it on high or higher , it really gave me decent impact on overall performance, making the game much less playable especially in the large town .

Thank you :), finally able to change that , but Iam not feeling any decent improvement on performance, feels same similar to before applying change priority :( oh one more thing, I have latest version 1.11 for ArmA II, wonder if I can still using -cpucount=2 in .exe target windows ? I have Core2Duo E7200 @ 2.53 ghz.

I'd tried changed priority in windows task manager on ArmA2.exe, but "Unable to change priority , access was denied" ? How it should be done ?

Have you try to find some light source and stand below it ? if this isn't bug, the colour of the game should be change it under light source. But I saw your menu colour looks correct. It isn't a bug I guess, maybe the game are created that way, that "black and white" are actually adding the horror feels for me.

I wonder, is the -maxmem=2047 still working in latest patch 1.11 for ArmA II ? I have 3 gb of RAM and saw that in order to add such command , I need at least 3-4 gb RAM but don't know if it stills working or not.

Are you sure that you had put the right number or character key ? because most of the cases like this that happened before was because some character and number are looks similar to other. For example : 0 = zero but sometimes peoples tends to read it as O . But , if even you had put the key correctly and still happen, then I suggest you PM Placebo and ask him to check your CD-key :)

yes it is :D But I hope that what makes ArmA II sales booming is because it's core gameplay , but with this DayZ I guess peeps whose didn't even heard about ArmA at all before will be acknowledging that there is a realistic military simulator called ArmA :)

I think it isn't because they have been tired of that arcade COD or Battlefield and then trying on ArmA II but rather it's because DayZ that everyone wants to buy ArmA II.

still, run as administrator is still needed. when you are about to install the game, right click on setup.exe , choose run as administrator , and proceed as usual until installation process finished :)

For disabling Hyperthreading itself, I just found out this : disable Hyperthreading through your BIOS , are you quite familiar with BIOS thing ?

ah I forgot to tell you this : Disable V-synch into "off" in Nvidia Control Panel at your ArmA II.exe application (if ArmA II not in the list of applications, then manually add it ), it is worked and increase your fps for sure. As for disable Hyperthreading, I never do that before , not because it won't worked but because I have only dual core not quad core besides I myself don't know how to disable it. Iam still searching how to disable that in other thread, I will be back to tell you what I got later :) Perhaps other people in this forum can help you with Hyperthreading matter.

Even with reduced graphics quality, still looks not bad for me at least. Just raise graphic settings a bit, and it will be looks just fine again :)

Put post process effect to low or even disabled and see if it's working :) I had that case also, but that was long time ago before I patched the game to the latest now. If you don't have latest patch, then patch it now :)

Your spec is more than capable to play this game, but looks like the CPU are not working properly. Have you tried disable Hyperthreading ?
