    Let me spell it for you. I dont use mods, my Arma 3 is 100% vanilla, I don't have Utes, new visuals look wrong Don't attack me like that when it's YOU who cannot read. Again, I don't use mods, I don't like the oversaturated colors and crushed blacks.

    Custom map? What are you on about? My Arma3 is 100% vanilla and the new visuals look horrible. Contrast and saturation are set to "candy" mode. Maybe with some cheap TN-display this might actually look better, but on decent display those shadows and lights are crushed/burned.

  5. If the unit is not player (AI or playable) removing (for example) optical sight does nothing. The sight comes back. Bug, or am I missing something here?
  6. We have a LAN party coming up and right now Arma 3 is not in good condition. Is it possible to roll back the Steam version of the game? Current version's memory crashing (all the time!) and stupid stamina system ruins the game, I can't understand how BIS is changing core-mechanics after 2 years! So, any way to roll back to working version?

    Yes, vanilla stable. But we are not discussing about initial flying height. We are talking about waypoints and different flying heights. Read the OP again. As I said, waypoint Z-axis does nothing.

    Try it yourself before giving advice, the Z value does nothing. It would be logical, but this being Arma... FlyInHeight does work. For the first command, that is. Underwater waypoints are also bugged.

  12. Level 0 is seabed (at least the Eden visual seems that way). But negative elevation does not work either, AI swims to surface first, then to waypoint.

    Placing objects in EDEN is great, but in-game, most of them wont work properly.

    Reverse back to specific version of the game

    I have clean A3 installation without mods and it still crashes. I've seen others have same issues too, I didn't see any solid solution for this as the fault is in the game.

    The animations for crouched position are weird. Weapons swaying and when you pan the horizon slowly the animation isnt played so the result is weird shaking etc. Super annoying... who thought this is a good idea?

    No problems with the PC. Been reading others saying the same. I forgot to add the superhuman sniper AI which is just ridiculous. They can one-shot you with iron sights from like 600m easily. Just snap... headshot.

    I havent really been active in these forums, but this time I'll have to post. Been a few months away from Arma3 and now it's nearly unplayable for me. FPS has dropped from 60+ to ~40 with same settings than before (and it really doesnt matter if I lower the settings). But the thing that really buggers me is the new aiming system, it's infuriating, I just cannot play this game like this. And just when I thought that Arma series has finally gotten normal and enjoyable controls. Now it's like drunken fighting. If this game goes to this direction then it's over for me.
  19. Sorry if this has been asked before (probably, but the new search doesn't seem to work). I tried to search for cooperative versions of the official single player campaign, but found none. Is the campaign somehow protected from editing or why anyone hasn't done this. The campaign is great and I liked Arma2 in cooperative (with it's problems) very much. I would convert the missions by myself, but I suck (and hate) scripting, even when I'm old Flashpoint veteran. After the new complicated speech system I just gave up on any dialog on my missions.

    Yeah. I De-pbo'ed the campaign and the missions loaded up fine in editor, but extracting to MP-missions and loading up, Arma crashes. Maybe I'll try again, but I think it will be easier from the ground up.

  22. Sorry, but I am lost in here. I've been trying to get custom animations to work, but with no success. I know hot fire up the animationsviewer, but when I copy the animationname to this playmove "animationname", I doesn't do anything. How I'm supposed to use animation like "c5efe_HonzaLoop" from the list?
  23. Hello, I've been away for a while from ArmA series and I would like to know how do you guys make stealth missions in Arma3? Is it a bug that the basic "detected by" trigger works differently than in OFP/ARMA1-2? I mean in A3 the trigger is activated instantly, let me try to explain: - Player (blufor) - unit (opfor) looking away - trigger with blufor detected by opfor (and hint "alarm") the AI opfor cannot detect me, but if I shoot it to the head with silenced pistol (instant kill) it still activates the trigger, which it didn't in older games. How do get around this?
