ArmA2 / OA (low) performance issues
Brilhasti replied to R3fl3x's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING
Well if anyone here can recommend an ATI version that works with crossfire, I'm all ears. 12.6 / 12.7 do nothing at all for me. -

Thanks for the reply Leon. To be honest, it's not the actual FPS that's a problem. With the settings I use, I get around 35 FPS. That's perfectly fine. What troubles me is that when I enable crossfire, my FPS actually drops by a few. I can play fine with a single GPU I know, it's just annoying that there is an Arma OA crossfire profile, yet I do not see any benefit from it. -

It should do. There's an arma 2 crossfire profile. -

I have a Phenom X6 1055T @ 3.5 ghz, should be fine and other games like Skyrim get a large boost. Baffling. -

Hi all I've played Arma 2 for a long time. I have a HD6870 and just bought a second, identical 6870. I'm getting no increase in FPS in crossfire mode, if anything I get a few FPS less. I've tried 12.6 and 12.7 beta drivers, I have the latest CAP. Old drivers were cleaned in safe mode with driver sweeper. In benchmark 01 I get 26 FPS with a single card and 24 FPS with crossfire enabled. I use spirited machine launcher and have tried launching with just the arma2oa.exe. Nothing makes a difference. I know the cards are fine as crossfire is working in other games with a large increase in FPS. Any advice? Thanks -
Maybe I'm being thick here but... I'm on the Badlands part of the campaign. My team is just myself and the other 3 members of Razor. Team member 2 (Sykes?) has the DMR equipped and is low on ammo. Because I cannot rearm him with DMR ammo at the NAPA camp, I want to equip him with a different weapon. How do I do it? If I select F2 then option 6 there is an option to "buy weapons", When I click that, the message says "2, buy weapons at that Grenadier" (me)... I'm lost here

Will my PC Run this? What CPU/GPU to get? What settings? System Specifications.

Hi all I've downloaded the demo of Arma 2, The full game should be delivered in a few days. My system is: Q6600 (not overclocked) Asus P5Q mobo HD4850 4gb DDR2 Vista 64 Ultimate I'm getting 30fps on the demo's benchmark. Is there anything I can do to improve this? Any reccomendations for video settings? Sorry for laziness just this thread is hundreds of pages long
