Do you wish to have BattlEye in ArmA II?
xxNimrodxx replied to HOPEnSPIRIT's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - SUGGESTIONS
Can i say that the BattleEye was a piece of crap? I mean, when it came out with a patch, u just needed to open with winrar the patch, open BE exe with some program i don't remember, change it, and repack it all and install the patch. This way your game believed the patch was ok, multiplayer servers too, and u were FREE to roam around with ur hacked BE, and no one was ever able to notice WHO was the cheater then again. Simply useless. -

The 'Longbow’ radar is the bulbous unit over the rotor hub assembly. Radar placement above the rotors allows the apache to hover behind cover scanning for targets, with only the radar unit exposed. Yeah, someone's right, Tab and fire... -

Would really love to see how do they will implement the use of the radar dome. Because of it's ability to lock targets after fire, to lock multiple targets at the same time and fire at them at the same time and because of these weapons: AGM-114L Longbow Hellfire Weight: 49 kg Length: 1.78m Diameter: 0.178m Wingspan: 0.33m Range: 9 km Guidance: Active radar Launch Platforms: AH-64D (16), RAH-66A (14) This is a version of the AGM-114K hellfire designed to operate with the longbow fire control system on the AH-64D and some RAH-66s. Unlike the other Hellfires, it has active millimeter wave (MMW) radar guidance, allowing for a fire-and-forget capability. AGM-114K Hellfire II Weight: 45.4 kg Length: 1.63m Diameter: 0.178m Wingspan: 0.33m Range: 9 km Guidance: laser Launch Platforms: AH-64 (16), UH-60 (16), AH-1W ( 8 ), RAH-66 (14) An upgraded version of the original hellfire missile that features tandem warheads for defeating ERA as well as improved seekers and electronics. -

I think this is a thing already seen....:j: -
Voted: Mixed. Reasons: CTD calling on RAM exhaust, but i'm ok with the fixed stuff.

Just like i said, it's naturally true that here everyone love the game, but i think we are just a little disappointed like if u buy a car and don't have the cigarette lighter.. kind of "well i can use it anyway", but not completely know what i mean? Yeah, i've read till page 11, but i'm at work, no time to read 25 pages where almost all ppl say the same stuff just like me... :D Btw, i've got a lot of CTD after 1.03 calling on RAM exhaust. Posted on the other thread. -

I've seen a screen of an Apache for the exp... But didn't see AA missiles... Nevertheless, will u BIS add some countermeasures to AA in flying stuff? or are we supposed to do always acrobatic manouvers to evade a missile? Btw, instead of employing ur employes in doing some new textures and all that is connected to a "new" game, why don't u try to fix the texture problems of ArmA 2, and the HORRIBLE cyborg voice we hear from our AI teammates? because http://www.shacknews.com/featuredarticle.x?id=1170 and it's really true. But, first of all, why don't u try to complete a game before making a new one? Oh yes, because WE always follow u anyway. Come on guys, just make things go right please... everyone here love ur games, but please, please, PLEASE, give us something closer to almost total satisfaction.. Now i have a 1.03 game, and a lot of CTD on a OS fresh of install on an HD clean. I mean, ArmA 1 after the last patch has still the Motorbike bug sometimes (hopefully not in ArmA 2)... Good old times of OFP, 100 patches, but with working fixes! -
ArmA2 1.03 Impressions - ALL Impressions/Videos/Screenies Here
xxNimrodxx replied to Placebo's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - GENERAL
Impression is: Bad, waiting for the new patch, hope to see the Bradley, maybe in the Exp. Why are there the same bugs and bugfixes from the old OFP? Having a lot of CTD after 1.03, more than with 1.02, always telling about RAM problems. I got a AMD 6400 BE, dual of course, 2.0 Gb RAM Corsair, 4870 512 Mb, 10000 RPM Hard Disk Velociraptor and Win XP 32 bit fresh of 2 weeks.
