No matter what I do I cannot join servers. I constantly get session lost before I join. I have the most up to date beta patch.I got got combine operations through sprocket. What am I missing?

Same problem here. Tried beta, redownloaded battle eye, added missing pbo, restarted modem. Any ideas what to try next?

Thats 3 of with crossfire. Dwarden had posted the catalyst makers twitter account on the Steam forums to hound the guy for crossfire and it seemed to work. I just posted a message about the textures. I recommend doing the same. http://twitter.com/catalystmaker

Add me to the list. The vegetation looks bad 1 foot away and the plant is a big blob. I dont notice it as often in arma2 but more so in OA. I thought it may be a ATI driver issue as 10.4 doesn't seem to do it as bad. I see RobertJ is using crossfire as am I. Is anyone not using crossfire or ATI and having the issue?

I am running crossfire as well and am happy about 10.8s finally working without exe swapping but I have the same issue with the LOD. I'll be right in front of a bush and it is a big blob. It completely ruins the game. I just fired up the BAF missions and it is bad. I may go back to the 10.4's with updated crossfire profiles. They seem to be the best. Im in the same boat as you with similar specs. Arma 2 runs like a dream after all the patches but OA sucks performance wise. I dont notice the studder but the texture loading is horendous. I get low rez textures untill Im with in 2 feet of a tree or vehicle. Hope a patch will come soon as I love the environment, when it finally loads.

Hey guys, I'm having issues installing beta patch 72197. It is the 1st beta patch I am installing. My Combined operations is all up to date but I get the error 'Arma2OA is not installed on this system or is corrupt'. The game runs fine though. I have it on a seperate SSD drive and have tried putting the .exe on that drive but still get the message. Any ideas? Also I have tried this solution and it worked for main OA.152 and it worked but is not with the beta patch. I have the Sprocket version also. FIX / WORKAROUND for the beta failing to install on STEAM build: use registry editor add registry key into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2 create new String value name it "MAIN" (w/o "") Anyone else having this issue?

Thanks, After I had patch 1.7 I unistalled OA and reinstalled this time it default to Arma 2 and all is good.

I've tried this and it still doers not work. Does having OA installed cause an issue to patch EDIT: had wrong file in registry. works!

I tried reinstalling, adding patch 1.00 -1.07 (already tried 1.5-1.7) still says Arma2 doesn't exsist or is corrupt yet I can start and play the game? both games work fine seperatly but I think I need 1.7 for them to combine. It is on a seperate drive (not C:, which is the default ). I have also tried putting update on sme drive and in same folder. Hi all. I just finished downloading both a2 and arrowhead with purchasing combined op off sprocket. I have a SSD set aside for arma. I created a folder titled BI and installed Arma 2 1st and all fine at 1.05. I then installed OA in the same folder and all fine. I could not launch OA with A2 content showing up. I installed 1.05-1.052 update which says is supposed to also update A2 to 1.7. OA updated but A2 did not. I download 1.05-1.07 seperatly and it says the Arma 2 does not exist or is corrupt but it is not as far as I am aware as I can launch the game. My only thought is that I installed OA in wrong directory but have tried to move it and error still exists. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey Guys, I was wondering if anyone give give me an idea of how to place documents or laptop on a table? Everything I try leaves it lying underneath. Ive tried attachTo addObject moveincargo. I cant find anything else in the OFPEC command refence. Any help would be appriciated!
