I cant get it run. The readme in the OPX addon said you " put the addons in your desired addon folder". So i put the stuff from the opx.7z under @opx/addon but the mission does not start cos of the addon. Can somebody give me a helping hand? Erm, do I need CAA1, too? -
Anybody tested the .4b yet? Did a few runs with .4b and .4a and the vehicle upgrades did not kick in. At least it was quite funny when we got overrun without vehicles 20mins later.

Did a few more tests. Its an really odd behaviour with the dialog buttons. For unknown reasons they just light up orange when I hover with the mouse from below the buttons. When I go over the button from above it does not highlight. Also, it seems I can only click below the text - not on or above the text.

Did another test on my client server and the AI groups spawned fine. But I had a glitch with a defense group that wasnt moving towards the bunker ive set up. For maybe 5mins they just moved a few meters back and forth behind the tent (but nothing was blocking them). I decided to kill the group and hoped for a new group to spawn which didnt happen. So I was stuck and couldnt build any new bunkers. There should be a check on the death of a def group so a new one spawns. Another problem Ive found was with an AA outpost. Im not sure if they should man the AA with AI but one outpost manned the AA and one didnt. Ive put one of my AIs into that free AA and when the outpost was destroyed by an air attack my man did not die, but was underground (guess still on the sunken static AA?). When I gave him a new waypoint he should up on ground fine and moved on. He should be dead, shouldnt he?

Sry, but useless poll - what exactly is "type of performance"? Without a rating this is merely based on "feeling" which makes this poll invalid and useless. There are so much variables unconcidered. You dont get anything from a "How do you feel with your OS"-Poll!

Simple, 1680x1050 is too much for my rig, so I reduce the res and imp the quality. Fortunatly the monitor interpolates nicely! Thanks for the tipp with the alternative resolutions in the Nvida options. Ive tried it and noticed that my damn Nvidia panel crashes when I try to open it. (seems I havent used it before on this rig) Reinstalled the same and different drivers and the same happens. Really weird. Maybe some windows components are fubared - have to check if I can repair it. So I stumble from one problem to the next, hehe! Thanks alot for the input, guys! -
Hello! I play since patch 1.02 and Arma2 never gave me any 16:10 resolutions beside 1680x1050 and I dont know whats wrong. Ive set the resoltution to 16:10 but no other res shows up - neither render nor screen res. When I edit my preferred res (1440x900) into the arma2.cfg I have to write protect it so it does not automatically default to: Resolution_W=1280; Resolution_H=1024; Render_W=1280; Render_H=1024; So, whats wrong? Why is there no other 16:10 res? Does Arma2 even support 1440x900? Why does it default to a non-widescreen res? Thanks for help! Spec: Amd 7750+ @2x2.7ghz GF 9600GT (tried the latest 3 drivers)

I think that different goal is a nice idea, but it needs more balancing. Bluefor seems to be a too strong opponent, but I need a few more tests on this. Also I would really love to see a possebility to switch between this duty and a gamemode where both sides have the options bluefor currently has for an equal pvp. This mission just screams for an option to play bunkerwars against others. =) Regarding the leader role I think a transfer option is always helpful. And an option to become leader in case no leader is selected. Thats always good for public servers e.g. when the leader left.

Its a Samsung Syncmaster 226BW, 22" and connected via DVI, yes. -
It seems the dialogs are bugged sometimes (v1.5, MP and SP version) for unknown reasons the mouse hover does not highlight the buttons so they cant be pressed. They highlight just for a brief second so with a lot of mouse acrobatics you might be able to hit the button the moments its highlighted.

Great mission, but still damn buggy! ;) Ive collected a few issues from our tests on a dedicated (v1.5): - OPFER leader has no teammates and so he cant build bunkers - IFV on Blue is bugged - you cant control the vehicle with your teammates (seems its a locality problem - do you spawn the IFV on server or client side?) - respawn should be switched to the tent/fortress after its build - the random leader selection is quite annoying. a pal got leader and then he left and there was no way to get the leader back to access the action menu - the reinforcements for empty bunkers spawned too slow so most bunkers have been empty and not much reinforcements have been on the way - The OPFER could see all my group markers on the map Great work! Im really looking forward for an update!

Hm, seems my monitors max and native is 1680x1050 but I have any smaller 16:10 setting available for the desktop res and all games that support 16:10. And now that some peeps get the 1440x900 res I still wonder why it does not show up here... And why the game resets me to a 4:3 default... Ive checked with the 3 latest drivers without change and windows supports it without problem... Maybe anybody else have the same problem? Could help to nail that prob down! thx for replies -

Ive moved the insertion point closer to s-e of krasno. Cos I prefer to approach the first camp from the side anyways its a perfect point for me and no more shot down choppers =) -

I opt for option 1+2 with a tendency to 2, cos I love heli insertions. But even for a heli-insertion-lover 4 sounds not bad too - but I havent said that... ;) An insertion around s-e Krasno isnt an option? Guess you want to sent us directly into the static defenses, eh? =) Btw. would be kind if you could lower the "30% world poppy seed production" a few tads to ... maybe 5%? 30 is really, really high if you relate the small space to e.g. the real south american coca plantages etc. -

Weird, seems I have the 1.1 release and the chopper tried to land on that pole, too. But was shot down then. Insertion is too close to the enemy imo. -
Its still important to know which version you play... And also the Version of your engine - maybe you use a beta patch? havent encountered this bug in any version before... Edit: Also do you start it in SP or MP mode? Just for clarification =) The only way I was able to break the gamestart was to choose "Coop West - destruction" and join the opposite side - East in this case! If you choose the wrong side you will just spawn into the water. Also, what did you mean by "game didnt trigguer the end"? You played a destruction mode and have destroyed the whole resistance base? Theres a set of buildings in that base that have to be destroyed to trigger the end condition.

Or other way around - why should I need Arma2 any longer when most players and modders might stick to OA? It seems that most new features will not be included into Arma2, too. Ok Wolle, here are a few questions: Will the owners of Arma2 get the "addon" cheaper? Or will there be a way to return Arma2 for lets say half of the price, cos it will be nearly obsolete and outdated with the release of the addon? Can we expect another rushed, bugged release without possibility to play a campaign in the unpatched stock game? In case OA might be heavily bugged, will it mean that patches for Arma2 will be developed at a slower rate, cos the new main title will have a higher priority? -
