So you guys are telling me in real life the smoke from a burning vehicle or a destroyed building dissipates that quickly? Just because somebody from the ArmA 1 effects modding scene was involved in the making of the stock smoke effects doesn't mean they are realistic nor perfect. The idea behind the effects of DMarkwick were much better.

I used the Dm stuff in A1 extensively and tbh much better than A2 and don't cause my game to lag out.

Go to properties in your desktop shortcut to A2 add this in the target area -nosplash and voila.

Have a hunt round the various online servers there's plenty up and you will find it in your MPplayer cache.

Yeah some folks can have there own bum inserted in a specific Orifice. Find one where folks say hi to you and they invite you to Vent or Ts those are the decent ones. especially if they don't allow T'king and base wrecking etc.

Look for the more mature style of play and you will tend to find the people who will have a chat/help you out and point you in the right direction.

Try using Game booster = http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html and if that dont work do a fresh re-install i know its a pain but sometimes a full fresh re-install does work. To be honest Most squad servers wont mind helping you out and giving you pointers especially if you have Vent/Ts etc. Also every one has to start some where.

We run team play wether its Squad night or not. *************** and base wreckers get booted so fast they hit the wall on way out, and we generally look for team players with an mature attitude.

Oh and we like folks on vent as it adds to the enjoyment and expierence of coordinated team play.

I'm running a nvida 9500gt 1gig and i'm running the game at either high or very high with a dual core 2.7 amd 5000+ and 4gig of ram. On another note i know 2 guys who run identical rigs and there getting wildy difrent responses from the game weird or what.

Easy mate its conflicting with @eliassound ditch that so ur exe looks like this:

@Xeno Hi mate i was wondering if the Longest day which is a an Excellent Mission, could be Reconfigured to so that you could be the Russians Fighting the US just for a change any help/pointers or tips would be handy.

Once again thank you Mate. Ok as an update had a look for x_heli_wreck_lift_types but cant seem to find it... probably looking in wrong place looking in x_scripts can see 5 x_heli but not that particular one.

Yeah we can add them but when they wreck we dotn get a wreck marker liek the won kit so is there any way to do that?
