  1. Hello All, First off thanks Bohemia for all the entertainment from Ofp to date i've enjoyed each interation of the series hugely. As this is my first post I feel obligated to say so. Secondly to the community, if im lucky enough to have any response's please no bickering among yourselves, i've seen enough of that in the troubleshooting forums in past few weeks while trying to follow threads for solutions to my problem. Now down to my somewhat strange issue. Recently I purchased a new computer the spec's below. OS Windows Vista Home Premium 64 on Service Pack 2 Mobo EX58-EXTREME BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG Processor: Intel® Core i7 CPU 975 @ 3.33GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.5GHz Memory: 6140MB RAM Corsair Dominator GT Page File: 3718MB used, 11335MB available GPU: Asus 285x2 Using On board Sound Previously I had been running on a 32 bit system with the same GPU's as above playing Arma 2 without any artifacts. Now, flashforward to present. New PC arrives whilst im giggling like a teenage girl waiting to install Arma 2. I get in game and after a few moments I start getting grey triangular artifacts, the ground turns grey and game CTD's. After repeated testing this seems to happen particularly after flying over towns or under heavy load (ie cti's etc), first I see a flicker in the textures on buildings and then the triangles of doom appear. I've monitered temps on both system and cards: no change and stable during the crash at about 38 degrees. Ram also checks out good System is stable playing Supreme Commander with 8 AI's on setons clutch (strategy fans will realise what that takes, probably should become a benchmarker for system stability) Arma 102 patch arrives I test immediately no change, and yesterday the sheer horror that 103 hasnt fixed it yet (yes I like to exaggerate) I've tried all suggestions in the nvidia thread/armaholic thread, downloaded countless nvidia patchs to no avail. I've even fiddled my CFG file everything! With a bit of research I have also found out I am not alone but in a minority of people who suffer this issue. Does anyone else here have a similar system and experience the same issue? Were you able to fix it? What are your BIOS settings on your X58 board if you are working with no artifacts? That is all, My deepest thanks to any help recieved. Kind regards, Mavvvy
