I get an error message when I try to join domination servers with Apache added. You cannot join this server as ca.apache something or other has been deleted

I have it on. No probs as long as I run a fresh boot before playing.

While flying lead cobra in a pair with AI manning the 2nd the AI tend to lag behing then catch up, gain altitude then lag again and repeat. If you can imagine a heart monitor trace on a screen with the flat line then spike peak then flatline you get the idea. Other than that I'm really enjoying taking AI controlled vehicles with me now. Excellent stuff Devs.

A couple of quick and simple questions. When I join a server and the grass detail is off by default is it also off for the AI or do they always treat the enviroment as fully grassed regardless of the server settings?

Any Devs care to put this one to bed?

Running latest beta patch and latest beta nvidia driver my performance is through the roof. Good work BIS. No command switches or any bios settings disabled.

Ignore the pseudo forum police Raggz its a well documented issue on here. Lots of people with 295+i7 spend a lot of time seeing arma2.exe has stopped responding.

I have it, I've installed it and played it. Initial impressions are not good. If Arma2 didnt crash so much I could have saved 18 quid Graphically it looks bland and uninteresting and I'm maxed out on all settings. Hardcore mode is as difficult as opening an aspirin tub. Imho its a very' very dumbed down mil sim wannabe catering to your average console gamer. On a positive note it hasn't crashed for no reason on me yet so thats +1 to CM.

Thanks for your reply. Ive run into another problem though. Ive added 2 a10's and 4 f16's to domination map. The a10's respawn correctly when destroyed on the airfield insitu however the f16's leave a burning wreck on the airfield when destroyed and then respawn on top of the wreck. Can you help?

And me too however that's after how long since release date? Arma2 is fantastic when it all comes together and does what it should. As for DR; loads of people bashing a non released game, never played it never will mentality all because of a name. None of it based on and kind of actual gameplay experience. I've pre ordered DR, I can afford it and I'm not biased or fussed about a name, I want a good looking, fun and functional wargame. If DR is that I'll be happy.

Latest beta patch + latest nvidia beta driver [191.00]causes my game to look like a photograph negative. The intro scene flying over the carrier and all subsequent images. Prior to installing beta patch all was well apart from ctd's. I'm using the main desktop shortcut with the -no splash -mod=beta switch. If I use the beta shortcut the problem ceases.

Press middlemouse key down, problem solved.
