  1. Jesus...Gonna have to go through their other videos to see if they're using video game footage (A3) there as well, and probably are. I'm also fairly certain that slapping a Property Of graphic across your video while using open source DoD footage and someone else's IP (BI/Arma 3) is fairly illegal. https://www.reddit.com/r/arma/comments/ofy3du/its_itv_all_over_again/
  2. Addons - Contact, RHS, PLP, NIArms, CUP Core, Ravage (Gear), EO GM Uniforms, Eden Extended, ZSL, Niko, and Rismarks anims. This was a scene build. The US sign and gas station were Photoshopped.
  3. I started this project right after GM was announced and upon noticing that it wouldn't contain any fixed or rotary-wing assets upon launch. Still WIP and subject to change. What it will contain: Two units of the Army Aviation Corps that would have operated in the North German Plain during wartime. Accurate airframe markings (In German where applicable) per Bund specs and doctrine. Three helo's per unit with historical aircraft registrations, unit crests, and FRD markings. An additional helo added (BSG) just for fun. Screenshots

I thought about it. However, the config process proved so obtuse I gave up on the entire project.
  5. I just posted a review. If you haven't done so I suggest you do, regardless of what you think. That said, a lot of the complaints seem to revolve not around the DLC, but the issues Arma has as a whole. Which is odd.

Retex project of the RHS UH-1.
  7. @mondkalb I hope it's alright to post this here? Seeing as how there are no air assets (yet) I started retexturing some of the existing ones available to the community. Should be done by GM's release day which I'm eagerly awaiting.
  8. Thanks for insight. One more question though given that I just noticed where exactly the map is located. Have you guys modeled the infamous Helmstedt (Marienborn) Checkpoint?!😛
  9. I'm confused as to why you have FlakPz 1A1's and ZSU-23's triple-A vehicles without having any actual air assets to fight. It's a bit like having scuba gear for troops in a landlocked desert environment. I understand if this is a planned FREE expansion to the existing product down the road, say Bo-105's and DDR Mi-24D's. But if you plan to charge for like assets, assets meant to have been included at the outset, then you're going to face some rather heavy push-back, and rightly so. I just hope you take these concerns into consideration before moving forward with the development plan and what seems like an infinite monetization with regards to potential expansions, vehicles, assets, terrains, etc.

  11. Wanted to try to bring a little more realism to the game via the unknown. That unknown is of course IED's in all their dreadful forms. My main purpose for this was my growing frustration, and that of others I'm sure, that requires the mission maker or player to constantly utilize scripts to get the desired effect. Thus far I have the following in the chute; DBIED's, pressure plate and victim operated IED's, EFP's, SVEST components, and a few others. It's quite a bit of work and considering this is my first go at addon making, the process is rather daunting to say the least. I'm hoping to be able to add those nasty little bastards the Mujh like to hang at or above head level, typically in trees and in urban settings like door jams and bumpers. But we'll see how that goes. I understand the sensitive nature of this killer all too real. As a active duty member of the Armed Forces (Combat Engineer), I've deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq and have come face to face with them. So please, no hate mail. Wn9-a-x4LW4
  12. I've been working on this for a little over a month, when time presents itself. Hoping to look into doing several different variants that include the UH, OH, and AH versions.

    UH-72 Lakota

Currently sitting at 37k, which is high, but that will change once its OM'd properly. I haven't even touched O2 yet and likely won't for quite some time.

    UH-72 Lakota

The 58 is on the back-burner for awhile, I'm still fairly new to modeling and it can take me forever to actually get anything done. The good news is that Autodesk approved my free version of Max (an hour ago) due to the fact that I'm currently in the military/Veteran. So, I can get back to working on both birds at a decent pace. I was using Blender after my Max trial expired, but I found the menu system/UI really obtuse. @ Adumb Better version for ya. Hi-res render at 4096x3112. The image comes in at around 35MB's, so it might take awhile to open.

Here's a older one prior to the tail-boom being completed.

    Still pretty rough.

    UH-72 Lakota

No plans for a civilian version, that is why it has the UH military designation. Haven't thought that far ahead to be honest. Like this one?

    UH-72 Lakota

They're there. And the UH-1's were indeed US Army birds.

    UH-72 Lakota

LOL mate, you're not the only one! I was convinced they had all been long phased out until I put boots on ground in Afghanistan my last deployment. Even then, I was certain they were Afghan birds. It wasn't until I walked up to the FARP and actually saw the US MIL markings on them did I realize they were ours. Was a bit like a culture shock so too speak.

    Arma keeps freezing..

Is the game actually freezing or are you guys getting hiccups, were it does a momentary pause then continues? If so, just out of curiosity, are the hiccups/freezes preceded or accompanied by a audio spur?

Still need to add the MMS, that's the ball on top of the rotor assembly for all you civies out there.

    UH-72 Lakota

Apologies for the nomenclature error. I have no idea where the 6 in UH-76 came from. Should be UH-72.

    UH-72 Lakota

They're supposed to replace some of the 58D's mate, though nothing concrete as of yet. The UH-72A has flown in Afghanistan as a MedEvac bird, however, I've only seen a few flying around here at Riley and none in theater.

Any updates on the 2.0 release? I can't seem to get a definitive answer from anyone.
